"So far I am pleased, but one item is still supposedly on backorder so we will see if it arrives. However, I am VERY happy with the Chariot CX1 with bike trailer attachment and jogger addition that we purchased. We saved at least $300 being able to get a 2013 model which was still everything we wanted. It arrived in under a week. "

"Terrible Seller - BUYER BEWARE - they might have a good sale price but you might not get what you paid for.

My wife and I were in the market for a new bike carrier and this shop had a good price on the model we were interested. At the time we had a 3 month old so we were very happy to find out that the carrier they were offering came with a First Year of Life bundle. The carrier came, arrived in a timely manner and in good condition, but no First Year of Life package. Thinking any reputable store would immediately work to correct the situation, I emailed their customer support with a question about my order and sent a screenshot of their product page, which has a tab labled "Includes" and the "Includes" tab listed the First Year of Life (FYOL) Bundle as being included with the carrier. Thier response was I didn't order the (FYOL) version of the carrier so I didn't get the bundle. At this point I called customer support and explained that there was no option to order a FYOL version of the carrier when I placed the order. My screenshot also proved this. They said that when a version is out of stock the drop down doesn't appear. However their product page still listed the FYOL bundle on the includes tab of the product page I did order from. I finally got transferred to the CEO who said he understood how his website could be confusing but that they were not going to honor their website and if I wanted the FYOL bundle I would have to send them an additional $100. It got worse, he berated me for not understanding that the carrier I order came in two versions and I should have known that I wasn't going to get the bundle, even though his website lists it as being included. And the final straw was he said because I got a good deal on the stroller he wouldn't honor his website's product description.

"After a few email exchanges Matt called, fixed up the order over the phone and assured me they would deal with any issues that may arise. Couger 2 and accessories arrived in Oz via FedEx a week after ordering (some minor damage to carton), and despite the $300+ freight charge was still $500 less than getting it locally. Perhaps Thule Chariot need to re-think their regional pricing? That is really unfair to us antipodeans."

"absolutely the worst experience ever! do NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN! tried to charge me $100 for shipping bc i wanted to exchange for a different stroller, the double i had wanted in the first place yet got a single delivered.

Told me it was my mistake and he doesnt care about customers mistakes. I was told I had to reimburse HIM for the free shipping i received, and he was the rudest man I have ever ever ever done business with. wouldnt even give me a return autorization.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS!

WENT AND FILED A CLAIM THRU PAYPAAL AND GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK!!!!! serves him right for being so rude and hard to deal with. totally went against his own return policy as stated on the website. terrible terrible terrible

"As a Canadian purchaser, I ordered the Weehoo iGo Pro and had no issues buying it and sending to my sister who lives in the USA. Good experience overall and I'm happy with my purchase so far. It's worth mentioning that I purchased the Weehoo at 10% off (1day special) so can't complain about getting a bit off the original MSRP."

"A difficult seller to work with. Before ordering product, emailed seller to verify what I was purchasing. Then to my disappointment, the incorrect model year was shipped with missing items. I JUST emailed to verify this wouldn't happen! Now seller won't follow-up with the correct item I ordered, and want me to pay Return Shipping if I return. How disappointing for a veteran Amazon buyer. Beware"

"Price here was the best I could find online. Easy to order. I liked that I could pick from a variety of shipping options and I could see my shipping costs before the end of the transaction (unlike some web companies which require you to put in all of your personal info before they let you see the shipping costs)."

"The product I initially ordered did not work for my needs and so I had to return it. I called before returning the product (a bike trailer) to find out how much would be deducted from my refund amount for shipping and was assured that I would get a full refund. When the return was finalized and my credit card was credited, the actual refund amount was less than what I had paid. I then called back to find out why the amount was different and spoke to the same customer service person. He told me that the refund amount was minus the shipping cost (even though the item qualified for free shipping). He was unapologetic about his mistake and I ended up eating the hidden cost of return shipping. I do realize that this is what is stated in their return policy, which is why I called in the first place.

Additionally, after I received a trailer that I'd bough as a replacement for the returned item, I discovered that the trailer hitch that I already owned (from a Chariot Cougar) does not fit the Chariot Chinook that I purchased. This was not clear on their site or on the chariot site so I called and asked about it. The customer support person initially told me that the trailer hitch was the same. It was only after I pressed the point by asking "then why doesn't it fit" that he double checked and found that yes, it was a different part. In this case, neither their site nor the Chariot site makes this clear, so it isn't surprising that he got thus wrong, but it doesn't speak highly of their customer support either.

Their prices are good so I think that if you know EXACTLY what you are getting and are sure you will not need to return the item, then it's a good site. Shipping was fairly fast and the item was received in good condition.

"I purchased from BikeKidShop for one reason, they were the only on the internet that I could purchase the Burley Alternative Hitch Adapter. With that said, there service was outstanding and timely. "BEWARE OF THIS SELLER....
I ordered a brand new Burley Bike trailer from this shop. They told me it was on backorder but then suddenly the next week I received the trailer. They sent me a used bike trailer that they had for sale on ebay at the same ti9me I ordered my new trailer ( it was from another customers return). I actually saw the ad on eBay for I called and ordered a new trailer. When I returned the used trailer the company charged me shipping fees and restocking fees and told me that they had to sell the trailer as used. I found their previous ad on eBay and confronted them. They told me that it was a different trailer that they had from another return. They listed my trailer on eBay after I sent it back. I found that ad and it was the exact same pictures and ad verbage as the previous used trailer. What a scam!!! I am stopping payment on my Amex and will never buy from them again. I am writing this to let every buyer to be aware of the unprofessional business practices of this company.
