"After years on a flat bar hybrid bike, I decided I wanted a dedicated road oriented bike to get in better shape and be able to join in some local longer distance rides. After months of research, I kept coming back to the Polygon S5 as the best combination for where I'm at and what I value. The experience with Bikes Online was excellent overall. Their sizing tool helped me narrow down to the proper frame size for my proportions and after making some adjustments to get a good fit, I'm very pleased with the final product. Personally, I wish they'd use someone other than FedEx to handle shipping, as those guys are flat out incompetent, but they did ultimately get me the bike in decent shape. "

"My experience with bikesonline was super easy! I knew what bike I wanted after doing my research on their website. You can compare bike components, etc on there so that helps too. I ordered my Siskiu T8 and it shipped out faster than they had originally thought. When it came in, there wasn’t a single scratch on the bike from shipping. I put it together pretty quick and before I knew it I was already out riding. 2. Back tire has hop. Tire possibly defective because it does not seat on the rim.
3. Clear finish of frame where it is dark is hazy unlike the red color which is true."

"So I ordered a bike from bikesonline.com, the initial experience was good but then it was downhill.
I received the bike and it had many spots where the bike had poked through the box and was damaged.
I took photos and sent them immediately, the response time was terrible but today they got back to me.
They told me that damage in shipping is normal and 70 dollars online credit is their offer.
I'm still in contact since I hope this isn't the only option.
Honestly buying a bike and paying 3k to just received a banged up bike seems like a scam and something thag won't keep a company afloat in the market.
I'll continue to contact them and see how it is resolved and update this review accordingly.
I mean at least they are talking to me however slow that may be, small victories haha

So I just shipped the broken bike back to bikesonline.com to exchange it for a new one that hopefully doesn't get damaged in transit, I asked if I could pay more to have the bike padded more or have a fragile sticker put on it but they said they can't do that which is odd, but I'm just glad they're gonna get me a bike that isn't damaged, I just don't wanna have to go through the process again if this new bike gets damaged haha"
"Price was good, however shipping experience left me very unlikely to recommend. Item was shipped 4 days early, which was over a holiday (Thanksgiving) weekend when I was not home. Shipped early great right? Nope, as there was no indication when I ordered it I would have to be present to sign for it. Ensuing email updates from Bikes Online as well as FedEx were confusing and contradictory, and customer service at both ends was of little assistance trying to locate my bike after the original delivery attempt when I got back home. When the bike finally arrived, box was severely damaged on the outside and the inside boxes were in pieces as well (not sure whose fault, bikes online, Fed Ex or both). There were parts inside loose and banging around and the bike had chipped paint on one spot. At this point I was willing to accept that, not wanting to deal with the nightmare of trying to send the bike back. The front skewer was also missing, probably falling out of the large hole in the box, so I could not attach the wheel. Called Bikes online for a replacement Dec 1, which they agreed to send....eventually. I just got a notice the skewer will (hopefully) be delivered Dec 20th. Pretty lame having to wait almost 3 weeks for a part that should have been with the bike to begin with. That and the lousy condition the package arrived in, and general don't care attitude about correcting mistakes would make me hesitant to buy from them. While the price was good, there were other online bike sellers where I could have done just as well, probably with a lot less hassle.
