"As I mentioned in my last review, there were a plethora of mixed reviews for Bizchair.com that made me really question if I should actually shop here. There some good, some bad. And the site not being secure really didn't help (even on the actual page where you enter your credit card info!).
So, I took a chance, and I got what I wanted. HOWEVER, that's only the beginning. The packaged arrived in a pretty rough state (I have pics) and I know that's not necessarily the fault of Bizchair, but how the contents are packaged sure are the responsibility of Bizchair.
I opened the box to find everything kinda just tossed in there, or at least it certainly seemed like there was little care in how the contents were placed in the box.
To BizChair's credit, they did bubble wrap everything, and wrap cardboard around a few of the parts. But that's it. The seat and the back of the chair were squeezed into the box alongside the base where the casters usually go. That bottom piece is a heavy metal of sorts (I forget. I'm assuming steel), and it because it was bubble wrapped, it actually busted through the box that it was shipped in.
I know shipping companies need to be speedy and deliver things. And I know that I can't expect a perfect pristine package ever time. I DO expect companies like BizChair to know and understand that, and so they should know to better package their products (I'm gonna assume they are responsible for packaging). There wasn't any foam or anything structural to protect the product during shopping. I even got a dent on the base of the chair. It's mostly cosmetic, and I definitely don't want to go through the whole rigamarole of sending it back, getting another piece just for something else to possibly go wrong.
TL;DR
All in all, the experience, and product received, was mediocre and just barely sufficient. I will NOT be buying another item. I really appreciate when a company takes the extra steps to care for the product that they're shipping me. BizChair didn't do that."
