Like everything else, freight costs have risen with the times. We do not charge handling fees or other fees to our customers, but the shipping companies set the prices for delivery, much like the USPS sets the cost to deliver mail and packages. Our hope is that our customers understand the cost of delivery is entirely within control of the delivery company and yet we keep our prices competitive and our quality superior. "Unfortunately the chairs could not be delivered to our office, but the drivers did the best they could to make it convenient for us. The problem is the chair were way over packaged. They were in fine condition, but there was way to much shrink wrap, etc....It took a long time to unwrap everything and the environmental impact of all that packaging makes me feel horribly guilty. There must be a better way."
