Some things never change

"I looked online for a humidifier today. Saw that the Janesville store had them in stock. I drove 45mins to get there. I didn't see any on the shelf so I asked the woman working in that dept. She pointed at the empty shelf and said if we had them they would be right there. I told her their website said they had them in stock. She then said "Well I guess they all sold." I said "Maybe you need to update your website so people don't drive long distances to purchase something you don't have." She then said " I did have 1 sitting right here this morning so we did have them in stock" I then asked her if I could order it online and have it delivered to the store or my home. She said she didn't know about any of that I had to ask whoever was working at the service desk. I asked the girl about it at the service desk. She said she didn't know and said she would look. She then said yes I could have it delivered. I asked her if there would be any s/h fees added to it. She said she didn't know. I asked her if she would look again to see. She rolled her eyes at me and then looked back at the computer. She then said yes you will have to pay s/h fees. I said Thankyou and walked out the door. As I was walking out I thought to myself...I remember now why I quit shopping at Farm&Fleet."

It is so easy at Oak Cereek store to complain on their workers. Manager believes what you complain about. Lol got same person in trouble .

Cancelled my order before Christmas

"I purchased a Columbia PFG shirt for my sisters boyfriend as a Christmas present and it was expected to arrive Dec 13th. By Dec. 18th, I still didnt receive the package so I called customer service. Apparently they decided to CANCEL my order without informing me, sending me an email, or a REFUND. Now I only have 5 days to find it elsewhere. "

Christmas time

"I was having trouble finding the Lifesaver books in my area. These are tradition for just about everyone, and I was panicking because I couldn't find them. I ordered 3 from here for my kids. Yes, I got all three. No, they were not damaged. But, I was charged 3 times for the products and shipping. These books are not very big and could have been shipped at once in one package. The invoices looked like they had been in someone's pocket and slept on. Wth? I've never seen anything so unprofessional. I've worked in retail, I've sent orders out and have never done this type of thing. It took three shipments to mail three lifesaver books? Get it together. I'll never order from this place again. "

It's OK.

"Items sold in the stores are of lesser quality then before but I guess lots of chain stores go this way, quantity vs quality. If you order on line for a store pick-up, make sure they have the item before going to the store."

And they are still trying to do business?? How!?

"I called prior to my order to ensure this was a legit company and I could get an invoice once completed. Since I have received my items its been a night mare dealing with this company. I've talked to about a dozen customer service representatives and was emailed by another from the help.corporate who advise me the cannot send and invoice on a web order #. I wonder would they accept a web order number to the item they purchase? Of course not! The corporate office is worse than the customer service reps making pennies. I was advised to email a gentleman in corporate and so I did, this was about 2 weeks ago with no response. When I called the corporate office and asked to speak with Jane I was transferred to her "executive assistant" . I left her a detailed voicemail and never received a call back. Since I myself own a business I find it disturbing that noone even bother to call me back, this would never happen in my business. When all is said and done I have returned my items and we will never order from this company again. Funny enough this review wants an invoice #, this is the problem! "

BEST PLACE IN USA TO PURCHASE NUTS.

"I have checked high and low in grocery stores, Sprouts, Whole Foods for the cheapest brazil nuts. The lowest locally is 17.99 a pound. At this store I get them for 9.99 a pound. Its not that I love them but I need to have them or take pills for a bad thyroid. I have put it off for a month and my hair is starting to fall out. I wish they had a service where they would just send them to you but Im probably a rare type of customer. I just spent 80.00 on nuts which includes the brazil, mixed nuts no peanuts, peanuts, and pistachios of course. Ive tried the hazelnuts and walnuts as well in my last order. All the the nuts are of the highest quality. I have always been allergic to walnuts but I had no problem with theirs...maybe because I had order four pounds and my body just gave up fighting. If you or anyone loves nuts there is NO place cheaper...trust me..I have checked endless hours. Also for anyone with hypothyroid try brazil nuts. My two dogs who were on the same meds as me for hypothyroid as well and they love these nuts. Oh the the shipping is so quick. They quote you a time and are never late. They include tracking in your email and unfortunately even though they arrive in my town several days early they dont deliver until the date listed as the delivery date. "

got what I needed with no hassle

"I needed to replace Rubbermaid storage containers which were part of a set, discontinued by Rubbermaid. Got them from Blain's at a reasonable price, shipped promptly, arrived in good condition. I don't know why Blain's has a low-ish rating on Reselleratings. Perhaps happy customers don't bother to review and unhappy ones review. My own experience was good. "

Cancelled an order 2 days after the item was ordered - stated that it went out of stock

"Do not trust Blaim's Farm & Fleet. They will let you order an item and pay them, but then they will cancel your order stating it was out of stock. They do not do a good job of keeping their inventory up to date. Recommend purchasing elsewhere."

Low Priced Quality Boots, Fast Shipping!

"I found winter boots that I loved on the Dicks Sporting Goods website, but didn't want to pay $119 for them. I did a google search, found the exact same boots (Kamik Snowvalley Waterproof boots in Charcoal) for $79.99 on the Farm and Fleet website. Previous to that google search I had never heard of them. I think I found an online coupon code that brought the price down another %5.00. I paid for shipping (maybe $9.00 or so). I placed my order on Friday, January 5, 2018. When I checked back that evening, the website said that they had already been shipped and picked up by USPS. I clicked on the tracking number they provided which indicated a delivery date of Tuesday, January 9.
It's only Monday the 8th and USPS already dropped them off. The boots look great! They are exactly what I ordered! The size is correct! Everything with this purchase went better than I expected and much much faster than I expected. I will definitely order from them again!

cooper tires/why and when

" Went to Farm and Fleet on west state street , Rockford, Ill. On 12/30/17. we purchased four cs5 grand touring cooper tires. Scheduled installation on Tuesday 1/2/2018. Left home with three below temperature, not wind chill. Turned in our key and lady said it would be about an hour. Were in the lobby of the installation area about an hour later. Lady called me to the counter and informed me they did not have any tires. I would have to wait as they would order them. Still 3 below zero. I asked if they had an equal or better tires that I could have installed. Maybe Goodyear or other. They said no, I had the best that they had. Still 3 below zero. I paid for the tires, as the lady said it would be four to five days. I asked if they check inventory when they sell tires.
Didn't get and answer. I suggest you create MTB teams. ( MAKING THINGS BETTER). Farm and Fleet is better than this. Happy New Year

Not sure why all the bad reviews, but I've had a great experience!

"Boy, I've read so many poor reviews here on Blain's Farm & Fleet. I've only started buying from them recently so I have to assume that they've picked up their game and dramatically improved their customer service. I've had fast delivery, great e-mail responses to questions and very good pricing. Give them a chance, I did and am totally satisfied and now no longer apprehensive about purchasing here. Recommended!"

Paid for 2-day shipping, not shipped yet on day 4

"Placed a Christmas order on Tuesday and paid for two-day shipping so the gifs would be under the tree for our 3 and 6 year old nieces. Today, Saturday, the packages have STILL NOT EVEN BEEN DROPPED OFF at FedEx. Despite calling and explaining the problem, no one was able to do anything. They told me "corporate" would call me in a couple hours--twice--but it is now 8 hours after the second promise and I have yet to hear anything, let alone have the $24 I paid for 2-day shopping refunded. Little kids don't understand when Christmas doesn't come. Don't shop Blains Farm and Fleet. Thy don't deserve your business."

"I purchased a 1000-watt generator from this vendor approximately 2-3 weeks ago. When I received the unit, I put a small amount of gas/oil to test the unit out. Nice unit however didn’t have sufficient power for my purposes. Contacted Amazon to request a refund, it was approved. I turned the unit upside down to drain all the gas out from the unit. I packaged the unit a took it to FedEx and they shipped the unit out with NO gasoline issues because the tank was emptied. After multiple emails regarding the refund I was informed that the unit had been in the warehouse for 3-4 days and would require another 3-5 days to process. This AM I received an email stating that the refund was being denied, after all this time. The reason – gasoline in the unit and the unit had been used. WELL – how do you test out purchase to see if it works and next if it meets your needs. I had turned the unit upside down to drain the gas, yet they lied and stated it had gas in it. Best of all I was informed that I could DRIVE from St. Louis, MO. to Janesville, WI. Well over 450 miles and pickup my unit, why because once again they couldn’t ship it to me because of the non-existent gasoline. So, in essence they are keeping my purchase money and they unit. They could just send me an unused unit so I could at least sell it. Sounds like a nice way to make a quick and unethical profit. The unit worked fine, so it is not defective. I have contacted Amazon and filed a complaint. Speaking of Amazon, I received the return instructions for the unit and nowhere did they mention anything regarding emptying the gas/oil, common sense indicated that. I’m not surprised that there are many complaints against this vendor which has earned them a B++ rating with the BBB, as opposed to the normal reliable vendors which have A++ ratings. If this review doesn’t ward you off from purchasing from this vendor, purchase at your own risk. Amazon or this vendor have been accommodating in any same way or form. Well, it is the holidays and time to take advantage of the trusting unsuspecting customers and make that almighty dollar for the vendor at any cost. BEWARE!! they are NOT accredited by the BBB for some reason. I can understand why their rating is as low as it is. Just read the complaints. Years ago when I lived in Illinois I was a frequent customer of Farm & Fleet and never had this type of problem. Ownership must have changed."
