"After trying in vain for an hour to resolve an impasse where insurance company said a pharmacy was in-network and pharmacy rejected due to insurance not being a participant, we found Blinkhealth.com. By this point the pharmacy was closing in 15 minutes and all other pharmacies reported the same problem with the insurance which was Medicaid from out of state ( we were traveling for vacation). A course of antibiotics for shingles had been started but we didn't have enough meds to finish the course so it was essential we get something as she is immune-compromised. In those 15 minutes we were able to sign up and create an account on Blink, pay for the prescription ($25 vs. $239 pharmacy would charge without insurance), show it to the CVS pharmacist who, although they'd never heard of Blink agreed to try to process it when we read from Blink's instruction to say "Treat this info on my phone screen as the primary payer", and they were able to give us the drug in about 3 minutes with zero payment (as we had "prepaid" Blink online with credit card). Still don't know quite how this works, but it was indeed magical! "
