I will never purchase from boatid.com again. I purchased a spark plug wire kit for my boat and paid extra for expedited shipping because I needed it for the upcoming weekend. The part did not arrive. I called, and after a few days was told the manufacturer didn't have it in stock. Fine, it happens. I asked for a refund, they agreed to refund me the part cost plus the shipping fee. (Obviously, I paid shipping for a part that didn't COME.)
Received a confirmation email of the cancelation and refund in process. 2 MONTHS later I still haven't received my refund. I called today, the lady apologized and said she would refund me my $72 right away. OK.
Later, I get a confirmation email, they lowered the refund and said they would not refund the entire shipping charge. I called back, she said all she could do was give me a gift card. WOW! I will never purchase from this company again. If you have a problem, good luck getting your refund, even if two customer service reps tell you they are. SCAM. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. "

"I would give no stars if possible.
I ordered a gauge and a prop for my boat. They were both shipped with the same tracking number. When the tracking showed "delivered" only the gauge showed up.
I called customer service and was told they would overnight a new one. They told me I would receive an email with the new tracking. The next day I got no update so I chat with a rep. He said they needed to wait til the next day. Still nothing.
I chat with a new rep. she informs me the part is now showing out of stock. They have nothing to send. She asks if I would like to cancel my order, which I did. Hours later I get an email telling me the cancellation was denied because it had already been shipped and included the original tracking number which they agreed didn't contain the propeller. So now I get to call AGAIN to demand a refund. They did on the 4th call finally cancel my order and issue a refund but it literally took 25-30 minutes each call to get this resolved. What a waste of time.
So they strung me along. Now I have no way of getting the prop I needed for this weekend in time. If they had just been honest Monday I would have a chance of overnight or 2 day shipping one from someone who has one!
I understand mistakes happen. Being lied to is another issue, and it's one I don't tolerate.
THIS IS A DROP SHIP COMPANY and they use customer service reps to deflect mistakes. Buyer beware.
Oh and the $25 dollar coupon you gave me for my trouble which you said never expires and is good for any item gave me an error message that read "The coupon code you have entered has either expired or is not applicable for the item(s) you have selected.

Stop replying to these reviews with "how deeply sorry you are" it's clear you aren't. You're the worst type of company to deal with. I read review after review that was just like mine. Selling stuff you don't have, giving the customer the run around, reps lying and using the same tired wait 24 to 48 hours for an email line. Frankly it's fraud, I'll reporting you to the BBB."

"I ordered a new raker stainless steel prop with hub kit included, recieved the prop but the hub was not included like it was stated online. Called to see what was going on, come to find out its not included as they advertised it be. After a week of waiting and finally talked to a manager just to be told I would have to order the hub kit separate. Its almost $80, they offered to take $30 bucks off for there mistake. Wanted me to pay for a hub kit that was suppose to be included! I told them that it was false advertisement, manager told.me either to accept the $30 off or not get the hub kit. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO NOBODY. Do yourself a favor and stay away from boatid and get screwed like I did."
