"After weeks of looking on the site ,and looking through their catalogs , I placed a order. Between $300.00- $500.00/ since shipping is 20.00. They cancelled my order ,they didn't even email me to inform me, that they cancelled my order. After a couple of weeks of waiting , I checked their site , and it said they cancelled my order. I phoned the company ,she said she fixed the problem ,and next time I place a order, that it would be no problems. A month or two later , I placed a order for about $440.00. They cancelled my order again ,then I called and told them the lady said she fixed the problem . Later someone from bud k called and asked me if I wanted to go get copy of my licence , and mail it to them. Knowing they already told me the problem was fixed and my next order would have no problem "
"I tried to return an item I felt was inferior to the depiction of it on the website. They acted like a felony had been committed. Then the cost to return the fake trash is so high that it's obviously designed to deter anyone from returning anything. There are many far superior and far more honest vendors out there with similar products to offer. Don't bother with these shysters."
"I put the same order in like 4 or 5 different times. Each time I put a order in I had to call budk customer service to verify my name, address, amount of purchase, last four numbers of my credit card and even had to send a picture of my ID. On each time I went there whole process of verification my order still got canceled. So I even tried to talk to Cassandra one of the managers but supposedly she was busy or whatever the case was. So I just got fed up and told them enough of me jumping through all these hoops I'm done just forget about it "

Do not fall for this BS! I purchased a $20 sword Mystery Box (actually a pair--seemed like an even better deal at $15 each) and just received the shipment yesterday. "Three times the value" my a**! What I received was a Shadow Tactical (Shadow-Tactical-Tanto-Sword-And-Sheath-3Cr13-Stain-51328) which is listed AT $19.99 and a Red Guardian (Red-Guardian-Ninja-Sword-and-Kunai-Throwing-Knife-Set-with-Sheath-38927) which was listed at $24.99 ... so in BudK's Bizarro math apparently three times 40 equals ... 45. Go back to 6th grade, guys. This is obviously their way of offloading cheap stuff that isn't moving--especially when demanding a return would end up costing the buyer as much in shipping as just eating the purchase as a mistake. But rest assured I am never buying anything from BudK again when it is available elsewhere like Amazon or Kult of Athena--they've lost a customer of 35 years with these shenanigans.

"I just received several items from BUDK. Both knives and a sword. The products are low quality. Actually they are crap. I spoke with customer service and was told they would give me a refund once they received the products. But because the items are not damaged, I have to pay return postage. The return postage is costing me $26.00. Can you say ouch?"

"I made an order which they amended without telling me. When questioned they said it would be shipped when in stock. I recieved a different product that arrived missing a vital piece. They took over 2 weeks to send the return lable, after multiple requests. I have sent dozens of emails getting the run around. First they denied seing the item on my original order, then after i showed proof another dozen emails back and forth they said their shipping was shut down due to the virus. I had to tell them that the item was back in stock. They told me to check their site for updates. I did and it said they are shipping and processing daily.
I have asked for a superviser multiple times , but am ignored. Their phone number never rings through, just voicemail to customer service that they never respond to!"
"I placed an order with BUDK received it , item ordered was missing a part so I called customer service took the time and purchased a box to send it back , after a few days got the replacement item back same problem . Contacted customer service via phone and chat for a week and I get the feeling they just giving this lost customer the run arounds. They never sent an email with return label or given me a refund neither after I told them I would return it again. Just a very unpleasant experience I have never experienced with any other place and I order a lot of items on line ."
"They put things in description that arent true like saying a blade is carbon steel but when it comes its stainless steel or say all kinds lies in descriptions. They showed me a grand total day ordering but then two days later charged 10 dollars more on card saying it was sales tax but when I ordered it that day didnt ever show it at all when I agreed to buy . "Between all of my family we've probably ordered from budk's site 30 times and have had no issue whatsoever. That was until my boyfriend wanted to buy my little brother a blowgun for his birthday. It was a little bit last minute so he paid for express shipping and the order came to a total of about 23 dollars. When the box arrived the night before the gift was supposed to be given my boyfriend opened it up to find a 210 dollar hobbit replica sword. My brother loves the hobbit so it worked out well but it was far too late to return the item. My boyfriend decided to be ethical and let them know that they sent him the wrong item so they could correct it for the poor guy that got a 16.99 blowgun when he paid for the sword. When he did this budk demanded that they would charge his card the difference if he didn't return the sword. The representative said that the supervisor was away and that she would have them give him a call when she got back. Just to be safe my boyfriend explicitly stated that they did not have permission to charge his card the difference and the representative said "we don't need permission." When the supervisor finally called back she went through the same cycle until my boyfriend threatened to go through the FTC and they finally stopped saying they would charge his card. I'm very disspointed with this behavior because for those that do not know the law they would have been easily taken advantage of. This isn't just bad customer service it's illegal customer service."
