"I was told that the order would be shipped on 10/10/2002 and here it is 10/15/2002 and the order status on my account according to their web page is still exactly the same "Checking Inventory". I'm sorry, but if it takes 5+ business days to "Check Your Inventory" then your company needs to really work on creating a new inventory system. I have sent more then 6 respectful E-mails to get information on my order, none of which have been responded too.

Do not ever, ever, ever purchase anything from this company unless you really like to gamble. You will more then less likely wait 2+ weeks for your products, if you even get them. They will still charge you for your products even if you do not receive them.

I do plan on taking serious legal action against this company if my products are not received. As from what I have seen here many more of you feel the same way.

Good luck to all of you, who are having problems, and if you do not want to go through the same thing don't take the chance. Go to http://www.newegg.com , http://www.googlegear.com , or http://www.directron.com if you want to get good deals from good reputable companies. Do not throw your money on the line with these people.

"NEVER BUY FROM BUNTA! These guys unlawfully charged my credit card. I canceled my order, and even recieved an emial stating that it was canceled, and they still sent the motherboard that I ordered. I canceled only a few hours after it was ordered. These guys have not responded to any of my 4 emails in the past week, and phone calls are never answered. I wish I would have seen their rating before I had ordered. This company is BAD NEWS. Avoid this company at all costs, and make sure others don't order from them."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!! I talked to the California Better Business Bureau! They have 24 complaints against them in the past week alone of which they have not responded to ANY of them. They are also being charged with unauthorized use of credit cards. This is coming straight from the CA Better Business Bureau!! Please do not be victimized by these guys and if you doubt the truth of what I'm saying, call them yourself before you buy! They used to be so great! Never had a problem with them before and now without checking this site which I look at religiously before buying, I didn't this time because of my good history with them. BEWARE!"

"Bunta has always been a great place in the past, but it seems like something has changed. Ordered basically a complete computer, in parts, from them, and order was sitting on "checking inventory" for about 3-4 days. No response from emails regarding status of order. It finally shipped, with a defective Dragon Orb cooler fan. Took several more days for a RMA response letter, but I shipped it back. No refund yet, and from the comments I've seen below, I'm not expecting any. I will never shop here again and I would advise everyone else to do the same. Just proves that a great company can always go sour."

"This is horrible, I believe they are a store front only. My order was placed over a week ago and my story is the same as the one below. "These guys are horrible. Like the other 400 posts below, I found them through pricewatch

Like many many others I decided to order the MSI TI-4400 since Newegg has been out of stock for a month now.

The day I ordered it said it would ship the next day. After four days I checked my order status and it said, "Checking Inventory"....well wasn't it supposed to ship by now?

So I did a google search for the companies URL and ended up here. After reading their reviews here it didn't take long to realize I was dealing with a POS company. I immediately e-mailed ****@**** and never recieved a validation e-mail. It took them two more days to change my order status to No Previous Orders. I also e-mailed them two more times about refunding my CC with no responses.

It's been two weeks now since cancelling and they still haven't credited my CC (they sure were happy to charge me BEFORE shipping though). I guess they figure if they can scam 10% of all consumers they'll make a tidy profit. Oh well, in another week they're going to get a chargeback from me.

What a horrible place to deal with.

"I ordered a msi ti4400 nvidia card
three weeks ago and still have not received it yet..
Tech support HA HA HA HA there isn't any just a machine..
Email HA HA HA HA they must not beable to read because I have not heard back from them yet..
Had to dispute the order with my credit card company.

"This is a note to anyone who has been defrauded by Bunta Technology International- Please submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the California State Attorney General. It's very simple and can be done online.

I returned some RAM that was not compatible with my motherboard I also bought at BTI. They gave me an RMA number and I sent the RAM back. Not only did they NOT refund my money, they kept the RAM.

"Ordered on the 10th, got an email saying my order would be shipped the 11th. Order status for the next five days said 'checking inventory' (the online catalog said it was in stock during this period). Sent one email and one automated form asking for information on the status of my order.
Completely unable to reach Bunta via phone at any time of day, finally got a notice on the 16th that my order was shipped, though the tracking number isn't (yet, i hope) in UPS's database.
No customer service. Inaccurate availability information. Stay away.

"Placed orders with four vendors on 7/17. Bunta said item was in stock, but didn't ship until 7/23, AFTER all three of the other orders arrived! Nor did they answer email querying order status; I was in the dark for six days. Not a comfortable feeling.

As others have said, Bunta's service has taken a nosedive over the past year or two. Avoid them.

"My purchase was for a Epox 8k5a2+.

I must say that I am severely disappointed with this company! Suffice to say, I took a gamble and lost. Bunta's prices are hard to beat but it would seem that the phrase "customer service" is not in their vocabulary!

I bought the motherboard and it shipped out the next day. It arrived 3 days later. I was just about ready to leave a positive rating about them for their quick response and shipping times without testing out whether or not the motherboard worked.

I'm glad that I didn't.

I installed the motherboard, and suffice to say, it didn't work! (Powers up, but blank computer screen.) I tested out all the other new components on my old system and they worked just fine. So I gave the motherboard a quick once-over to see if perhaps there were any visible defects. The top side looked fine. The underside, however, had what looks like a fried circuit under the power connector area; a very conspicuous physical defect. I can't believe they would send me a motherboard with such a conspicuous defect!

So I RMA'ed it.

I called them up and was met with a recording that automatically hung up on me after playing. I figured, fine... fine... I'll be nice person and get the RMA using the website. I also sent them an email with several questions in the area of how long an RMA usually takes and whether or not they can ship me a replacement immediately by putting a temporary charge my credit card. (Their website asked for my card # again when I was filing the RMA so I felt the need to ask.)

Now Bunta was nice and DID send me an RMA# with the RMA procedure which I followed to the letter. They, however, DID NOT respond to my email. When my returned package arrived, I gave them a day, and then called them up. Oh wait... it was the same recording again -- the one that hangs up on you after playing. So now, my defective mobo is in their hands, and I have no idea as to whether or not my replacement has been shipped. I just emailed them again today but frankly, I'm not expecting a response.

Bottom line

non-exisistent customer service

Buying something from them is a gamble. If everything works, then it's all good. If not, you're probably better off talking it over with your credit card company.

"All these other complaints sound very familar. I ordered on 8/27 with the ship date of 8/28. It is now 9/5 and my order is still pending. Emails are ignored and phone calls are put on hold then dropped after a few minutes. I can't believe a company treats customers like this! They sure will not be in business much longer if this keeps up.

Funny thing is this company has been good to me in the past don't know what has happened in the past year.
