"I purchased a 3 pack of Mellitox for $177. I called and verified that I was well within
my return timeline. They told me to call the Buy Goods number and file a claim. No one answers the Customer Service Line; you just leave messages. I left three stating the issue was time-sensitive. They did not call back. I sent an email to the Mellitox folks and cc'd it to BuyGoods. I finally got a stock email that said it was too late for a return. Yes, it was too late because they withheld Customer Service until the timeline had passed. By looking at other reviews, I see this is what they do! The number on the Mellitox label is for BuyGoods; there is no way to get in touch with Mellitox folks."
"I ordered an item, via FB ad. What a mistake!!! After a long wait to get the item, it was NOT what they advertised! I sent 3 e-mail requesting how to return it for a refund. NO RESPONSE so I found their web page and how to return it, which I did, followed directions to the letter.......that was 4 weeks ago....still no refund. Today I found their phone number on the page. I called and guess what, it's been disconnected!! SURPRISE SURPRISE. I guess I can kiss my money good bye!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

"Buy.com gets a zero out of 5. I ordered a computer from them for a christmas gift on cyber Monday. I could have gone with a couple of other companies but I choose them. I got a confirmation, I thought everything was ok. Without notification, 2 weeks later they sent me a form cancellation notice without any explanation. I wrote them and asked for one and still have not received anything from them. Now with 2 weeks before christmas its going to cost me $300 more. I've never been treated so poorly I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone order from them."
"I had a really terrible experience with this company. I ordered RAM for my laptop thinking it was a good deal. After I placed my order, it got delayed for unspecified reasons and I had to wait two weeks before it even shipped. Then, when it finally arrived, although I was supposed to receive two sticks, I only got one. I called to rectify the problem. They said they would send me the correct product. Well, they sent me the exact same wrong product a second time! They could have just sent me an additional stick and honoured their ad, but they refused! Dealing with customer service on the whole was just awful. Despite multiple calls, they just didn't listen and didn't care. Sadly, I feel this company scams its customers and is really dishonest. I won't be dealing with them ever again."
"These people are dishonorable. The refuse to keep their word. Make a purchase, they raise the price, cancel your pre-existing order (arbitrarily) and ask you to re-order at the higher rate.

I purchased a projector screen on the Best Buy buy.com marketplace on 11/29 with an arrival date of 12/9/14.
Last week I called Ratuten when the order updates were not arriving, and they said it was not yet processed. I was concerned because it was due to arrive this week and I questioned them. The representative told me it would arrive on time. About a day later on 12/5/14 I received an e-mail confirmation stating the order was shipped via fed-ex.
When it did not arrive today, I called them. First they told me the order was shipped but had no tracking number. I called Fed-ex who confirmed nothing nationwide was due to arrive at my home (yes fedex can track that.)
I called them back and confronted them and was told the order was "lost" at the warehouse and not shipped. They said they needed 3-5 days to investigate, but the money cleared my bank last week, and they can't tell me anything at all.
I called a third time and they claimed that they never charged me for it. I gave them the date and time it cleared my bank and they said it was a "system error" but they have no idea what happened to the order and are now "investigating" and want me to give them a week.
So they took the money from me last month for an order that never shipped and they claim they don't know what happened to. ADDITIONAL WARNING I PURCHASED THROUGH BEST BUY'S WEBSITE SO I THOUGHT THIS WAS LEGITIMATE BUT BEST BUY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBLITY"

"Ordered a sauna on July 2nd. Cancelled thru their contact form on the website July 3rd, (Cannot contact them on the phone). Got an instant reply that said I contacted them but nothing in the reply said what is was about. They said they would contact me within 48 hours. No email or phone call to me, then on July 9th they charged my CC the full amount, I sent in another cancellation form, they did not reply again. So today I found their phone number on Gethuman.com, really. I called them and they said they were sorry they didn't cancel the order the day after and I would be charged for the full amount. I cancelled my CC and refuted the charges, contacted the BBB. This isn't the old Buy.com folks. Night and day. Never order from Rakuten.com. I have bought over 30k of products on Amazon so yeah I know what I'm doing. "
"I purchased a laptop and a USB memory stick on Thursday.
The same day they contacted me, asking to contact with the bank because the charge was denied. I contacted the issuing bank to confirm the charge, and then the charge was approved.
On Monday Lux, Theresa contacted me, asking for another than billing phone number. So I thought perhaps the bank did not update the numbers so I gave my cell phone.
Now, on Tue, which is today, Lux, Theresa contacts me again, demanding to scan my ID from both sides and the credit card, also fill the entire form and sign it. Saying, she has been searching me over the company office, tried to contact the office building (over 100 floor tall) and so on. I guess the also run the background check - so "that you could buy more safely".
5 days wasted. And they want all your personal information. I will never ever buy anything from this company."

"i took the risk to have brought a nameless tablet (Freelander PD20)from a nameless seller TOMTOP via rakuten.com(buy.com). rakuten.com asked me to review after the tablet is delivered which i gave 4 stars as the initial use was quite good. i then ordered case and car mount from buy.com, 15 days later i started really using the tablet with the new case. the tablet became dead after about 15 uses(5 charges). i can't blame too much for nameless TomTop or Buy.com for selling such unreliable product(if i knew it is such short-lifed i won't buy it a case and wait until case arrive to start using it), but when i found i have no way to update my review to reflect the fact it dead withing 5 charges i felt kind of unhappy about rakuten.com. i emailed their customer service 4 times in 10 days, each got an auto-reply promising someone would get back to me within 24 hours. none happened, finally a "Nicole| Customer Support" replied but disappeared forever after i merely asked to have a way to update my review(when trying to do so, rakuten.com website always "sorry, you have already reviewed the product.", not at beginning but after you spent all these time and typed in the updates. what to say about them? i used to buy often from them and had even a buy.com credit card dedicated for that. now fewer and fewer and probably rare in future as i can see they no longer care about this business as it used to be. you shop at you own risk!!!!"
