I have NEVER had trouble cancelling anything here. I have had to do so a few times and it went smoothly, even tholugh it was MY error that caused it.
Speed of shipping has never been an issue on their budget shipping. As fast--or faster--than others. They have NEVER used those SLOW POST, snail to USPS processes on me.
I have had budget shipping arrive in 2-3 days, and as fast as overnight. It depends on where the warehouse is and the carrier used (FEDEX Ground is MUCH faster than UPS).
The packaging is equal to or better than most things sent by the AZ guys or the Egg store.
A pre-sales question, just yesterday, got an answer back in less than two hours. With full details. That is good CS!!

"I bought a DVD from Buy.com and after having to wait for a few days for the item to ship (I ordered it on the 18th of September and it shipped on the 19th) I got it on the 24th of September, right within the estimated arrival day of 4-14 days after the item shipped. The item was in described condition and it arrived relatively quickly. The only thing I have against Buy.com is that they didn't ship the item on the same day and they didn't put extra padding on the DVD, it was just in a mailing, bubble wrap, envelope. Quicker shipping and more protective shipping packages would make this company much more appealing"
"I bought a pair of lovely boots from buy and they were delivered on time. It was a 3rd party seller I used but I had checked the feedback before I bought and everyone seemed to be happy with the seller. My only gripe would be I phoned the seller who had their number displayed to get an eta on delivery and left a message and no one got back to me, but I guess it doesnt matter as I still got the boots in a reasonable time frame :) I will definately use this seller again."
"Ordered a digital camera from the buy.com webiste. The order was supposed to get fulfilled by ZeemoDigital. I never received the camera. I contacted ZeemoDigital twice via the buy.com website and never heard back from them. Then a buy.com customer service rep tried to contact them and never heard back from them. Finally, one and a half months after the purchase I was refunded the full amount and now have to go and buy the camera somewhere else. Buy.com should not use a seller with whom they cannot get in touch! Very disappointed and will not use their services again."
"I have purchased from buy.com for over a decade, although I have not bought in volume from them as much as retailers like Amazon and Newegg. Buy.com used to be on par with Amazon, now their customer service has slipped, and pricing isn't usually as good. They farm out their customer service, making contacting them a rather undesirable experience. They still have some good prices from time to time, and are generally cheaper than buying from a retail store. I have never had any trouble receiving what I ordered. Sometimes they take a couple days to ship an item, meaning it takes longer to receive. They also allow any jim-bob to sell on their site, so you have to be careful who it is you are actually ordering from.
I am still ordering from them, but have only bought 10 items in the last 2 years. I used to buy more frequently than that from them. But when a good price comes along, like the recent $299 (no rebate) shipped price on a 512GB SSD, I'll still continue to order from them. The Rakuten point thing is a gimmick, although I have $29 in superpoints I'll be able to apply to my next order, making it a real bargain. "
"Thought that I was buying a Jawbone through Buy.com, and it was listed as new. A reseller sent me a used unit, and it appears to be defective. Buy.com says to go through the reseller for problems. Pain the backside. I will never buy from buy.com again regardless of the price!"

"Ordered a $80 item with 2-business day shipping ($6 extra) since I will only be in town for the weekend, so 4/5 business day doesn't work for me.
Recived the letter with the UPS track code today, and found out they shipped with UPS ground instead of 2-business day shipping.
Called customer support, and at first the customer support offered me "the difference in shipping fee (betwee 2-day and ground regular)" only if my item doesn't arrive in 2 days.
Speechless, so basically I paid the $6 to try my luck and see if UPS shipped fast enough, if not they'll keep the $6 for nothing.
After some hold, the customer support said they're willing to give "the full shipping fee" refunded if it doesn't arrive in 2 days instead(which is the same as the previous offer since this item has free shipping).
At this point I simply give up, and decided to let it go if the item arrive before the weekend($6 really not worth it to talk with these people), or I'm going to ask for full refund.

"Buy.com just canceled my order out of nowhere (they claimed that my address is not verified even when I was trying to pay via Paypal with a verified address).
Some weeks later I tried to buy something else using a credit card (to avoid this "issue" with paypal) and again they say that the address is not verified (after getting my cc info). I suspect an scam. Never again !!!"

"Buy.com sells goods from other merchants. They do NOT give the best prices. I ordered a product, then tried to cancel the order with Buy.com, less than 1 hour after placing the order. They said I had to go to the vendor to cancel. I went to the vendor and they said my order was not showing. BUY.COM said it was in process. BUY.COM said they would cancel the order. A little while later, I recieve a message about the inability to cancel the order and that it was in process at the vendor site. Nothing added up. They are deceitful and do not make it easy in providing accurate contact information for customer service. The vendor link sent me to a different customer service than was later provided. They make it difficult to 'cancel'. The CS reps were nice, but same story with each one...either order was non existent or oops it's too late we can't cancel....contradicting and horrible company. Oh and you can buy the goods direct from the stores at much cheaper costs.....DO NOT WASTER YOUR TIME."
