"DO NOT buy anything from BBD!! After a lot of price research, I found the tv I wanted for a great price at buybestdisplays.com. On 2/18 I ordered a TV from their web site and received a receipt number. Their web site said I should expect delivery within 10 days.

On 2/22 I called BBD to get more delivery information. No answer to my call, so I had to leave a message. Roman called me back soon after and said that I should get more info the following day, and that the tv will be delivered on schedule.

I called back two days later, 2/22 and had to leave another message. Roman called me back and said that Paypal had not released my funds to him yet and that I should contact Paypal to see what was going on. I did just that. Paypal told me that my funds were available for BBD the day after I placed my order. Since I was still on the phone with Paypal, I filed a claim against BBD in order to retieve my money. 10 days later, I received my refund from Paypal.

Paypal saved the day!

I wonder when Roman is going to change the name of his company again. I also wonder why he no longer actively monitors the feedback on this site. I also wonder why he is still allowed to conduct business!

"Roman Ogourtsov, who operates this web site, is the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with on line. I ordered a large screen plasma from him, and he told me he had it in stock and it would ship immediately. After 3 days had passed, I hadn't received a shipping confirmation or any other type of communication. I tried calling him, but he never did answer the phone in person. I then emailed him and he didn't reply.

This is when I noticed several negative reviews below starting to appear. I quickly realized that I too had become another one of his victims. He obviously lied to me and didn't have the plasma in stock. I sent him yet another email and told him to cancel the order and refund my money back to PayPal. He didn't bother to even respond to this email.

Here is where it gets funny: Four days later, Roman finally emailed me back and wanted to know if I still wanted the plasma, and if I did, he would send me another invoice! What an idiot! By this time, he had scammed so many people, he lost track of what was going on!

I did get my money refunded, and it took a little over three weeks for PayPal to get the money back.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this scammer.

"Run as fast as you can from these people. Have multiple emails from Roman about a 70" Sharp TV. Said they were having problems with Paypal. Got it fixed and sent me a link and I ordered via Paypal. This happened March 2nd. He has gone underground since. No response to multiple emails. No one ever answers the phone but I've left multiple messages with no return calls. Filed a complaint with Paypal and my credit card company to get my money back. They are both investigating, but Paypal has not refunded my money yet. "Exceptionally poor customer service. I placed the order for my 70" TV on 2/17. I received plenty of friendly emails telling me things were progressing and that my TV would ship from Reno. When it did not 1 1/2 weeks later, I was told that PayPal had a hold on his account. PayPal partially confirmed part of the issue. The order was canceled and I was refunded. Roman told me he would be able to ship my TV yesterday (3/5/12) If I ordered it via a different payment method. He told me the money was released on Friday, 3/2 and that it would absolutely ship on 3/5, I should be getting a call from the shipper to schedule delivery. Even yesterday, 3/5, I was told everything was fine. Today, 3/6 I am told that once again the money has not been released (I guess he lied on Friday) and that he could not ship the TV as promised. I have once again canceled the order and will look for a new company to buy from.

I would avoid this company like the plague. Roman is absolutely dishonest. He has no problem making promises that he has no intention on fulfilling to get you to place your order. I get the impression that he is using sales as a temporary free loan to float his company. Take an order, access the funds, stretch the customer along for 15+ days, and then refund the money. You get a free 15 day loan for the cash.

***Update***

I just received a threatening phone call from Roman. He made it clear that this review would be pulled because he, "Pays too much money to ResellerRatings." Hopefully that is not the case as other buyers need to be made aware of this company."

"I ordered a 70" Sharp HDTV on Feb. 19th. I waited 10 days and contacted them and they said they couldn't ship the product because of PayPal. Was told to call PayPal. I did and PayPal said it wasn't them that was the problem. They opened a complaint with them and they still didn't contact me. The next day I cancelled the order and PayPal credited my account. Good luck if you order from these guys. Oh and by the way, I followed all their policies."

"I ordered a TV late Friday night, PayPal immediately charged my credit card & sent payment to Roman's hotmail account @ Custom AV (who is this?). As of late Thursday night I have no receipt of the order from BBD. I called BBD & am forwarded to a different Sprint cell #'s voice mail. Look up BBD's address on Google & see the parking lot that is that address. I asked for a cancellation of the order. I did get a refund from PayPal. Not worth the aggravation to try & save a few bucks. I upgraded the original rating from 1 star to 2 stars because I did get a speedy refund."

"I have heard of the "Wow" factor before but the 92" Mitsubishi brings "Wow" to the "Wow factor." Picture is very sharp, thought pix might suffer because of screen size, not so. The 3D is stupendous, one just sits back, quietly absorbing the splendor. I don't see anyone beating very soon.
