"I had hopes of being one of their customers that would have a good experience. Unfotunately, I was not. I ordered two bath towel bars that both showed in stock online. After ordering, I received an email that said the items are back-ordered and should ship within 1-2 weeks. Not a big deal, but I called to verify. On the phone, I was told that only one of the two items was back-ordered and they would ship out the item that they have in stock. Well, here it is a month later and I haven't seen either of the items and good luck trying to get through to someone on the phone. I have called and waited in their phone queue system about a dozen times. Only twice have I actually ended up reaching a person. The other times I've been dropped to a message prompt. Guess what? I've left messages for them to return my call and I still haven't heard from them. Save your self the time and headache and spend a few more dollars at a reputable place. When doing most of your business online, a company needs to be efficient and accessible and buyplumbing.net falls way short in both of these areas."
"Well, I can't say enough good things about this company. I am located in Montreal, Canada, and ordered a Blanco prep sink (one of the few etailers to have it in stock) and several obscure Grohe shower parts -- ALL of which they had in stock! But I was really bowled over when they quoted me shipping rates that were literally 1/3 of the competition. I almost thought it was a scam, but no, the order shipped within 48 hours and a tracking number was provided.
What a pleasure to finally find a U.S. retailer that not only knows there is a country north of Minnesota, but actually is organized enough to offer great shipping rates, including quoting all customs and brokerage fees at the time of the order. I was in shock! Not only that, the shipment took just over a week to arrive from Utah to Quebec, at standard ground shipping rates. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a wait to get through to them by phone, but once in contact, the salespeople (Jessie,in my case) are extremely courteous and knowledgable. All in all, a 9 out of 10!"

Since that time – calling them every day, and everyday getting answer “Wow something wrong in our warehouse! We will contact our warehouse and they will ship it to you within hour!”
And this is continues already 10 days! One person telling – Yes we have it in stock and will ship it right now, another sales rep saying – this item out of stock….. and starts everything all over!

"I ordered a Blanco Alta chrome soap dispenser BUT buyplumbing.net would not quote the shipping cost at the time of the order. In other words if I wanted the item I could have been held hostage over the shipping which could have been any amount they later decided to charge. To safeguard myself I placed a note in the comment box on the order form - to the effect that I reserved the right to cancel the order if shipping came to more than $8.
It is now 8/17 and I have not received the item, and fortunately it has not been charge to my AMEX card.
I am much relieved that they have not actioned my order!

"I ordered two products, a Fairmont Designs Prism III 60" Vanity (Order# 113687/Invoice# 672792) and Prism III 18" Linen Tower (Order# 116387/Invoice# 703411). Both had concealed damage upon arrival. The first was not signed for by me, but the maintenance man in my building. I notified the freight carrier, Watkins Freight, a Federal Express LTL Carrier, and BuyPlumbing.Net immediately. It has been two months and they have done nothing. The boxes were in such bad condition that they could not have been reused. I have no way at my disposal to even have attempted to package the very heavy bath furniture to return it. Also, the only way to inspect the pieces thoroughly is to remove them from the boxes which destroys the box. At that point the carrier refuses to take the item back.
I was willing to get a replacement door and panel for the vanity and I was seeking a credit for the damage to the linen tower. They have offered nothing. I filed a claim with the freight company for the linen tower damage and they have done nothing. BuyPlumbing.Net is outright lying and refusing to acknowledge that they and their freight carrier are responsible for restitution.
I STRONGLY recommend AGAINST anyone doing business with this company. If they are willing to treat a customer spending $2,700 this way, I can only imagine how poorly they will treat others paying far less.
I intend to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Division of all states where they do business. I also intend to contact any other organization that will listen so that other future customers will not be duped by the illegal and deceitful behavior demonstrated by BuyPlumbing.net.

"Ordered sink for $607.75. Charge showed up on my VISA acct on 3/12/2007. Recieved no email or phone contact about my order and I emailed them on 3/14/about the status and ask why I recieved no contact. Recieved reply that sink is back ordered two weeks and that my VISA will not be charged until order is shipped. It was charged on 3/12/2007. I believe this company is a running a scam. I have now recieved the order after considerable confusion. It is not a scam. Do not post this review. If already posted, please delete."
