"typical of other reviews, ordered July 6th and showed as pending for almost last 6 weeks. They no longer respond to email and have requested a charge back on my credit card. Also starting a buytile.com sucks website to try and highlight what a rip off this company is. "

Well I have the same experience as Kristopher. We ordered tile.... still processing. Finally got a hold of someone (which is VERY hard to do) and was told the tile needed to be made in Indonesia still and wouldn't be available for another 6-8 weeks. I pitched a royal fit since nothing on the website indicated a stock issue and we were never notified of this (despite a policy on their website saying so). Suddenly I was told the tile was just being held up in customs and would be here the following week. Well that time has passed and my order is still processing. This time no one is answering the phone or returning emails. They have had our money ($700) for two weeks but am not getting any response as to if or when I will get my tile. I also contacted someone (named "Liat") via the online chat and when I started to explain they issue they promptly terminated the chat. I started it up again only to get the same person. Without any sort of pleasantries, they just typed someone's extension number then again terminated the chat. So much for customer service.
If I can't get in touch with anyone in the next day I am going to call our credit card company to have our charge refunded and look into any other action I can take. I don't know if anyone has even successfully purchased tile from them or if it is all a scam. I went on twitter and also noticed several complaints. Haven't found anything positive yet. So disappointed."
"Horrible customer service. According to their website, order should be delievered within 2 weeks, except for special orders, which are supposed to be noted in the description, and if the tile cannot be delivered within that time someone is supposed to call to confirm whether you want to continue with the order. I placed my order almost a month ago and it still has not even been received by their warehouse. Every time I call, in the event I actually get someone to speak to me, I am told it is expected with the next delivery. Now I have been trying to cancel and keep being told I need to talk to someone else who will have to call me back and never does. WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN."
"I also have been trying to get a refund of more than $1500 for an order that I had to cancel in March because they could not deliver the tile. I called after the charge remained on my credit card and was twice promised a refund but the charge still remains. As of today they do not answer their phones and it looks like I am going to be out the money."
"Horrible company - customer service doesn't return calls or email and is completely uncooperative in resolving their mistakes.
I placed a relatively simple order on May 5, 2 sheets of slate 2x2 tile, 4 sheets of glass mosaic tile. On May 11, I received a single sheet of slate tile in a box. Then on May 15, I received another single sheet of slate tile. On the 18th I called to inquire why i still didn't have the 4 glass mosaic sheets. The manager was completely unhelpful and said he'd look into and call me back the next day. He did not. I've also been in contact, FINALLY (only a week delay) with a rep via email, who keeps pointing to a tracking number of the box with one sheet of slate in it, completely disregarding the problem of tile not being included in the box. Nearly $80 worth of tile remains undelivered with none of their customer service staff willing to help. Avoid these guys like the plague."
