"Horrendous customer service.
Ordered a shirt in the wrong size. Immediately sent the a message asking them to change the size and they responded saying, "Yes you ordered medium." Sent them a new message asking them to change it and they ignored me until I got a "product shipped" message. Now can't return it because it's a "charity item."
And if they had taken the return, they would not have refunded the (not inconsiderable) shipping charge, might have taken a $5 "convenience fee" (their convenience I assume), and I still would not have the right size.
If you buy anything, be absolutely certain that you're getting what you want or they'll screw you over."
"CBS sent me the wrong item I ordered and after months of going round and round with them to get the item returned they finally agreed I could return it but they NEVER refunded me. They stole my money. I’ll never order from them again. "
"I found a t-shirt to add to my wife's Valentine's Day package this year from the CBS store which I ordered on 2/5/18 and thought that they I would have given myself plenty of time for it to be shipped and arrive to me by Valentine's Day. Nope, not the case. My order status sat as "Processing" for the next week. When I contacted the customer service team at the end of that week, they said that they had some sort of delay in their warehouse even though the item was in stock. Although I was a little upset knowing that this item was not going to arrive in time, I was patient and requested that they get this shipped out as soon as possible. I initially spoke to Patrick and asked him to keep me updated. I waited another a week and well-after Valentine's Day had passed so I contacted Patrick again as my order remained in the same status as before. Nothing more that he can provide to me and nothing that he can offer to do as well. Completely frustrated by this time, Meghan started to reply to my e-mails as I was no longer interested in speaking with Patrick. The lone bright spot out of this whole thing was that Meghan was able to knock off 20% from my order, which I appreciated yet there was no sign of the item being shipped out anytime soon. By this time, we are well into the week of 2/18/18 and my frustration levels beyond my limit. I ended up receiving an e-mail from Meghan stating that my order had finally processed on 2/23/18 and that my account had been charged. I checked my account and nothing had been charged and I went to check the status of the order and that had not changed. Basically, they did not follow through. When I went to e-mail Meghan again one last time on 2/27/18 explaining the ineptitude of their company and that they were in the wrong business to service customers, my order status magically changed to 'Shipped' on 2/28/18 with a tracking number included. I received the item on the following day on 3/1/18. Apparently, they made some extra effort to get it out because I do show that the shipping was expedited. But needless to day, the CBS Store will not see any further business from me and I hope that this review steers others away from doing business with them as well. Nearly one month from when the order was placed and then finally receiving it is unacceptable. If I could have given them zero stars on this review, then I definitely would have. "
"Didn't know the T-shirts I ordered (for a Halloween costume) were out of stock! When I placed my order, they were available. At least that's what the website said... Now I've wasted money on shirts I can't use because they won't be here in time, not to mention the inconvenience of having to spend MORE MONEY - somewhere else this time - for a T-shirt I can use for my costume. Not to mention there is NO customer service number to call (or at least, it's not in an obvious location on the site); you have to wait for an e-mail when the item ships. Well, one of the (non-important) items, a Caf-Pow cup I ordered, shipped already and I never got a confirmation email that it shipped!! Very frustrated! Not worth it. Get your stuff on Ebay or Amazon if you can. "
"I am NEVER going through this again. I ordered Bert the Farting Hippo from NCIS as a gift for my sister. When I looked the item up, added it to my cart, and checked out I didn't see anything that said it wasn't in stock. It wasn't until I received a confirmation email that I was informed that the item was not in stock and would not ship until it was in stock. It would have come too late to give to my sister anyway, so I decided to just cancel the order... CBS DOESN'T LET YOU CANCEL ORDERS! And then the real kicker- the debit to CBS showed up on my bank statement, disappeared, and only reappeared on the 28th of this month, leaving me $40 overdrawn and having to pay a $20 fee, not to mention the black mark on my credit history! And to top that off the tracking number I was provided with doesn't work! In short, I'm gonna wind up paying $60 for an and I don't even know if I'm getting the damn hippo!"
"Terrible terrible terrible.
Tracking information was wrong. Two items were shipped from different locations. It appears some of their warehouses have lab mice running the shipping department.
Their return policy seems decent, return and item with the original invoice stating what you want, return or exchange. Exchange was supposed to come and include free shipping back. Instead, I got an item credit and was told to order it again. The item I ordered was not only on sale, but this would require me to pay their outrageous shipping charges, of which they use UPS Mail Innovations. I will never order from them again. In the end I was credited back 50% of my shipping charges from the original order but I refuse to deal with their slow shipping."
