"Ordered a set of 4 center caps for my wheels. Product was on "ordered" status for a while and then went to "ready to ship". It sat at "ready to ship" for over a week. I sent an email, got no reply. I sent another and finally got a response that they were sorry and it would go out that day. I get shipment confirmation and a tracking number. After all of this delay, they charged me almost $15 for shipping and sent them out first class mail. I half expect them to show up in a standard envelope with no padding at all. Here we are, three weeks in and I still do not have my order. I have ordered from other online GM parts suppliers and never had these issues. UPDATE: My order arrived and was missing 3 of the 4 caps. I purposely ordered a part number that said (Qty 4) and someone opened the box and took three out, taped it back up, then shipped it out. Unreal."
Horrible website, horrible customer service, shipping costs are gouging
"So I ordered a small item a month ago. It was $30,00 and cost another $10 to ship. the item arrived a week later in a padded envelope via USPS media mail. It's packaging was crushed but the item did survive. Complained to customer service and was basically told "we don't set the pricing for shipping". Fast forward to Monday of this week, I ordered a power supply that was on sale. Saw the charge hit my credit card but never got the confirmation email. I checked yesterday and the charge is gone and my order is no where to be found. Contacted customer service and was told they see where my order was placed but it never completed totally. I ask "did I do something wrong?" and this is the response I got:
-----------------------------
Hello,
I'm honestly not sure what happened. It may have been because the PSU was sold out and the order was placed when it was no longer in stock but showed it was on our site. I do apologize for the inconvenience and I can only suggest to check to see if any of our authorized resellers here http://www.evga.com/products/wheretobuy.aspx may have the PSU on sale at a reasonably lower price.
Regards,
EVGA
-----------------------------
If said PSU is out of stock, why is it still listed and available for purchase on your site. Why didn't you offer to sell me one at the sale price or go into that order that didn't finish and fix it? I'm baffled at the lack of customer service from EVGA."
"Terrible terrible terrible.
Tracking information was wrong. Two items were shipped from different locations. It appears some of their warehouses have lab mice running the shipping department.
Their return policy seems decent, return and item with the original invoice stating what you want, return or exchange. Exchange was supposed to come and include free shipping back. Instead, I got an item credit and was told to order it again. The item I ordered was not only on sale, but this would require me to pay their outrageous shipping charges, of which they use UPS Mail Innovations. I will never order from them again. In the end I was credited back 50% of my shipping charges from the original order but I refuse to deal with their slow shipping."
