"It was good until the biting issues have become more severe. Also, biting has been an issue almost our entire time at the daycare. It is understandable in the younger classes but is not something we should still be dealing with as much as we are. The lack of appropriate action has very much soured us and that is why we are thinking of going elsewhere. Again, I don't appreciate my son being put in a different class when he was not the one biting."

"Overall I think the school is just fine. The property is a little older and everyone is pretty nice, but I don't feel like my child is getting everything he could right now. Our previous daycare set very high standards which I understand can't always be met, but it's still been a little frustrating being here mainly with the inconsistent teachers and classrooms. When my child started he was to be in Infant 3 and then moved up to Toddler about a month later, but so far he's been in Infant 2 about 95% of time and randomly moved throughout the day when teachers are available to finally take over those classes. It makes me question if there are not enough staff or students for them to operate fully."

"All the staff here are so loving and caring! Ms. Zakia is the best teacher. She is caring and makes sure we are updated everyday. She truly cares for all the babies in the class. The director is very welcoming and knows what is going on with my child. She was one of the main reasons as to why we chose this site."

"We love this school, its director, location and facilities. However they high turnover of teachers is very discouraging to both the children and the parents. Currently, we like all the teachers at the school but one. Said teacher doesn’t seem engaging, interested or excited to be there or with the children at all. I hope the teachers get better incentives and trainings to be able to remedy this issue soon."

"The teachers are great but they are stretched thin. They are always responsive to my questions and provide valuable feedback about my child at the end of each day. The issues I have are with the number of babies that are assigned to teachers. They don't have the ability to give each child enough attention because they are always busy either changing, feeding, cleaning, or logging events on the app/paper schedule. My child is now in the older infant class even though he's still immobile and it's become a safety issue where babies are climbing on top of him and hitting him. I told management we were not ready for him to move, but they did so against my wishes. I have expressed my concerns to management about him being in this class going forward and we haven't come to a resolution."

"We have loved CCY and our child is very happy. He has grown so much since he started and is going on to kindergarten in the fall. We feel the care and learning our child has received has prepared him well beyond the average student entering in kindergarten. The only improvement would be adding Spanish to the lesson plans."

Too many teacher changes lately, and the lack of listening from the director to our concerns . She listens but never do a thing to solve the issue. If my son keeps coming with diaper rashes , I will have to change him to somewhere else where they took my kid hygiene as a priority ."

"Overall the teachers are extremely caring and really work to nurture the kids and provide a loving atmosphere. I think they could do a better job when it comes to curriculum and education though. If it wasn't for teachers like Ms. Andrea, Ms. Em, or Ms. Lauren who actually organize planned lessons for the kids I would have pulled my son a long time ago. I'm used to a Montessori curriculum so I felt like this school was really lacking in preparing my child for the next grade up and not challenging him at times. I do appreciate the Jr. K program and everything Ms. Andrea has done to structure that program! She is awesome!"
