"I value what the teachers have done for my child's development. I really like the school and can tell the progress my child has made and that makes up happy.I would love for the school to continue working on their communication skills, sometimes I feel there is a disconnect between the parents and the school. Several times I have been given an incident report two or three days after the incident happened, and I have never received a phone call with an explanation as to what has happened. In stead the person in charge of taking the kids out pulls out the report and she has limited details as to what has happened. I had an instance where my child was the only kid in the classroom that did not wear a costume for Halloween because I never received communication regarding this activity. We were new to the school but had access to the app.I feel like the only change we have to talk to my kid's teachers is during a parent teacher conference. I wish there was more opportunities for this."
"We are very happy with the care provided by the staff at Children's Courtyard. The teachers are kind and compassionate and it is obvious they love kids and have a passion for working with them. I know my child is in good hands when I drop them off each day. I do think communication needs to be improved greatly in terms of getting parents important information in a timely manner. We were recently informed of a tuition increase only 4 days before this was scheduled to occur. Childcare has an incredible financial impact on our family and I felt disrespected to only get noticed days before this was to occur. Additionally, families are not informed of school closures with enough notice/time to prepare. Today we learned that the center would be closed with less than 2 weeks notice. If I am to request off work I need to give at least 2 weeks notice and I feel it is inconsiderate of families to not give them enough time to prepare. The school used to send out calendars of important dates/events - could this restart?"

"Overall this school is great - only area for improvement would be drop off/pick up; parents are not allowed in the classrooms, so any daily communication with teaches has to be done through the app. Not exactly the best method. Obviously this is due to Covid, so hopefully things will go back to normal eventually."
