They told me to send the wrenches back so that they can resend my order with the tray. The wrenches came in its own box so why do I have to send them back just to receive the same box and a tray that's separate??"

"I use a certain kind of drill for a machine that I produce. I ordered 12 through Wal-Mart who sold through CPO and I couldn't get CPO to deliver more than 3 at a time. Spent over an hour getting THAT sorted out. In talking with a salesman, he said they had "plenty" of the drills but couldn't give a price discount for quantity, couldn't give a hard count on inventory nor could assure they would all be delivered in 1 or 2 shipments. Called the sales manager to discuss and she did not return my calls and the girl that took my message was very rude and wouldn't give me the managers phone number. I am guessing they do not want my (or yours) business so lets do our part to put them out of business for wasting my time..."
"After Puerto Rico got hit with the hurricane in Sept 2017, my cousin purchased a very much needed power generator thru Amazon Prime to be delivered to the transportation company she works for in Jacksonville, FL so they could turn around and ship it to her. A few days later she received confirmation from Amazon indicating package had been delivered. When she checked with her terminal in Jax, they confirmed no package had been delivered. The facility is secured with cameras so they checked their videos and they concluded no UPS trucks had come thru their facility the day they said the delivery took place. My cousin contacted Amazon and they said that because UPS had provided a name for the receiver of the pkg, they could not initiate a claim. The name of the person who supposedly signed for the package doesn’t work for the company. Even with this said Amazon said they could not do anything and suggested she contact the supplier - CPO. We asked CPO to go back to UPS and ask them for a driver follow-up (customer claims not receipt of package) which would force the driver to go back to the consignee and have them sign receipt or non-receipt of package. But after a few calls/emails with a CS Supervisor Rebecca Stockunas who then handed the case to a Michelle Cooper, no resolution was provided. I personally explained the urgency of the generator which was for a woman with a small kid, but regardless of, there was no empathy or interest in providing help! If a company has no willingness to help in a time of need, especially when the generator's cost was $1000, it is definitely a company not worth doing business with!!!"
"Horrible customer service, especially Deirdre (never experienced such an unfriendly, rude, b**** over the phone) Ordered two items and was dissatisfied with purchase (maybe I should have lied and told them these items were damaged in order to get a shipping label). When I called on the same day it was delivered 12/26/17 to obtain an RMA and a shipping label they had told me I was responsible for shipping it back. It cost me over $40.00 to return these two items that weighed less than 10 lbs back, when it would have only cost CPO $6.99 to ship to me which was waived because I purchased over $49.00. I made several attempts, over the past 2 weeks, to obtain a label and they kept declining. Then I tried to get through to a supervisor and was constantly told that "Michele" is not available and will get back to me when she becomes available or at her convenience and/her discretion. I do not know what kind of scam or service these people are providing, but as a consumer and a constant online shopper, I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service. They are being reported to BBB, for not standing behind the false advertisement stated below:

"I ordered a Sunex metric combination wrench set from them for a excellent price. The wrench set is a excellent deal on its own as it is very well made polished forged long wrenches. The best part is that the wrench set deal came with a free really nice Sunex knife and a 10 pc stubby wrench set. The stubby set was backordered but cpooutlets sent me the regular wrench set and knife right away through UPS. Now that the stubby wrench set is back in stock at the manufacturers warehouse they have sent me the stubby wrench set also through UPS. The amazing part is all the tools are very nicely manufactured for a total price of $30 with free shipping. I had bought from cpooutlets on Ebay before and that worked out great also. I have only had very positive experiences with them after ordering over the phone and inquiring about the status of the backordered stubby wrench set. I will be checking with them anytime i need a tool in the future."
"I bought a chainsaw from CPO, it arrived minus a chain. CPO has a policy of complete return over the smallest thing. I had to return a tool in the past, same thing. I know better now and will NOT be buying from CPO. They are just a clearing house and have no recourse for customers with the slightest problem. The reason I bought this model is because I have 4 chains to fit it, needless to say I will be working on the property tomorrow, with this saw. I will not be seeing a new chain so I loose a $23 chain."

"Had a similar situation to many people on this review website. Ordered a drill on a Thursday night around midnight and ordered the wrong size -- 1/2" vs 3/8". Emailed right away to cancel the order, and I also called right away when they opened on Friday morning to cancel the order. They shipped it anyways and I had to get a return authorization. It was nice that they shipped it with the free shipping promotion.. but when I received the refund, they took that shipping cost out of the total refund. Sending it back also cost me in shipping. Avoid, avoid, avoid..... My refund took about a week, which is longer than their suggested processing time. Pretty dissatisfied.. Wish I would've gone with anyone else on the planet to get a drill. They wouldn't be as much of a headache as CPO."

"After reading the reviews here in RR I almost did not buy from the seller, cpooutlets.com. However, it seemed like most of the complaints were about buying reconditioned items, or items not shipping on time because they were out of stock. Well I wanted a specific Makita leaf blower, new, and their price matched Amazon BUT cpooutlets was offering an additional 15% off discount for Presidents Day AND free shipping on the first order if you signed up for their newsletter. All to say, the item (with my outrageous 9% CA sales tax) was going to be $213 from cpooutlets, and $250 from Amazon. And when I searched eBay I found the same blower from cpooutlets (without the extra 15% discount found on their site) but saw they had 37 in stock. This eased my mind that they really did have it in stock like their website said, and I ordered it on a Sunday evening.
Within minutes of signing up for the newsletter I received the free shipping coupon via email, which I clicked on from within the email to be applied to my cart on their site which already had the leaf blower in it. This all went without a hitch, with the coupon deducting the shipping charge that had been applied. (A very modest shipping charge of just $6.95 for anything under 70 pounds!)
I was very impressed at how easy and smooth it all went after reading the horror stories here! I immediately received an email verifying the order.
The next day (Mon) was a business holiday (President's Day) but the blower promptly shipped Tues by FedEx! I was expecting the PO. It arrived from GA in 4 days, this morning, Saturday, in excellent shape.
Bottom line is, I could not be happier that I got this blower so much cheaper than it was available anywhere else, and that the process was painless and perfect. If I hadn't read the reviews, I would have expected this was a very well liked company along the lines of newegg.
As for returns, once you put gas and oil in a machine it cannot be shipped back due to it being a hazard, which is true of Amazon or any online retailer, so if there is a problem with it, regardless of where you buy it, you have to take it to an authorized service center. Which means there was no upside to buying from Amazon anyway.
Bottom line is, I personally couldn't be happier with my experience at cpooutlets. The only thing I would likely do in the future if I needed something else again is to check like I did in eBay that it really is in stock there (and only because of the bad reviews here), but I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy from them again. I got the best deal available on the Internet for this blower with that extra 15% off!
And no, CPO did not ask me to write this review. But when a company is fast and everything goes smoothly, they deserve a positive review, imo. And since the reviews here were so bad I thought it only fair I say they did right by me."
