"Looked at off the shelf from Dell and HP, and also priced out parts from Microcenter, New Egg, and TIger Direct. For the money, this machine will whip the off the shelf, without all the bloatware they install. The NE and TD prices were higher, and Microcenter...well, I was ready to order there, but 90% of the order had to be picked up in one of their stores.

This barebones builder was great...really easy customization with lots of options. I'd recommend the order process. We'll see how it goes when the parts all get here."

Googling pre-made systems turned up flashy towers with lights, but only to see that it was worse specs and higher pricing.
