"I bought a computer at the end of March. I've had problems with it for a month now. I finally got through to the tech (it seems they have only one), telling him all the tests I'd run to eliminate everything but the motherboard. He told me to flash the BIOS, which I was unable to do. So, finally He says he will send me an RMA. I get the e-mail telling me, I noticed there was no extended warranty added for coverage after the first 30 days. Cost of shipping to us and then to send it back to you would be your responsibility since it is out of warranty.If the motherboard suddenly became defective, we would need to RMA it through ASUS – if any costs are associated with that (shipping it to ASUS for replacement), that would be your responsibility as well. The motherboard and the parts in the system are still under manufacturer warranty, so it may save you some time and money if you went directly through ASUS to see if they can replace the motherboard for you without having to go through us.Out of warranty repairs through us are $75 per hour. What a business! No responsibility at all. "
"I looked at systems from several boutique computer companies. Beware, many have lots of technical problems and customer service problems. CPU solutions did not have a single BBB complaint. Their systems select from quality components at several different levels. They helped me find something I could afford, yet quality. There are countless possible configurations, but they pick some great combinations and the total price for me with a spectacular 4K 1MS monitor was about $2200. "Buying the parts would have been more than what I paid. They give you the flexibility of building your own without the hassles. Everything was securely packaged and worked perfectly straight out of the box. It took around 10 days from ordering to having it, which for custom built, is very fast considering burn-in & testing.
The only contact that I had was I decided that I wanted Windows Pro AFTER I had placed the order. They responded within an hour with "No trouble at all" and took care of it.

It is not a full system so we do not offer anything beyond standard parts warranty of 30 days unless stated otherwise. A full system comes with everything and we can control what is in it, a barebone can have many old and new parts added after purchase which is appealing to many customers who want to use some of their current parts and or upgrade with new parts as they can afford it.
