"The few gems that work here make it worthwhile but there are many staff members who are here for reasons unrelated to providing childcare. The daycare industry is akin to the school district. We should be running background checks and making sure those who are tasked with running a classroom know how to do so, want to do so and love children. It seems like we pull random people off the street to hire and place them in roles they have no business being in. Some smell like marijuana while at work. Some have bad attitudes and discipline children instead of redirecting them and teaching appropriate behavior."
