"We have really enjoyed our time at a Childtime. The teachers are great and everyone has been very supportive of us as first time parents with a lot of worries and concerns. Add in covid and you’re looking at a whole new set of worries, so we appreciate the hard work and dedication of the staff. We know this has been a trying and stressful time for them as well."
"This school is wonderful! We have been very impressed with their safety procedures and how they have handled remaining open during the pandemic. All of the teachers, staff, and the director are incredibly kind and caring. They did an amazing job helping our child transition from the infant room to the toddler room with ease. We have noticed a significant increase in our child's development since her enrollment and since the transition to the toddler room. Finally, the communication from the teachers and staff is outstanding. They provide daily updates on the activities and let us know how our child is doing in the classroom. We also feel very comfortable reaching out for any reason, and they always respond in a timely manner. We couldn't be happier with our experience."
"I am so happy with the junior K program that was offered due to COVID. Both my children have learned so much in the short time they have been enrolled. I find the teachers and the director responsive and helpful."
"As a first time parent bringing my only child to daycare I have been shocked how much this is run like a business. I understand their is a bottom line to all business, but I guess I just thought that a daycare would be child and family first. What’s happening now is a great example of it. We are in the middle of a global pandemic, the states are shutting down schools, Childtime stays open (which I am happy about) but says if you voluntarily take your child out Due to fear of them catching a virus that is killing people they still are going to charge you 50% for the week."
"We love Ms. Suneeta and all of the teachers at Childtime (Bethesda)!"
"We are concerned with the recent relocation of Valinda Hile at Bethesda. She is the most outstanding teacher we have ever met. Her methods remind you of Mister Rogers, and the children respond extremely well to her. There are not enough words to describe her talent and care. She was relocated because her daughter also works at ChildTime and we were told this is a company policy that had to be enforced. We strongly recommend ChildTime reconsiders this policy, as it is affecting the quality of education and care. We, as well as many other parents, have considered pulling our children from ChildTime over this decision. We have loved our experiences at this school, however we are concerned about teacher retention and suggest ChildTime evaluate how to better retain excellent teachers (3 of the main classroom teachers have left in the past 6 weeks). This is not the first amazing teacher to leave, and it greatly affects the community and the children."
"Worst customer service. Director continues to play games regarding pricing for care, no transparency about moving kids up and thus to lower price points. This has been discussed at length by several of the parents. The only thing good thing about Childtime is location, particularly if you work in Bethesda metro area. Would avoid and find a nanny, if you have the option. We're looking to pull our child as soon as possible."

"I'm typically not the type to write reviews. However, when a company can have an impact on your kids and their future, I feel responsible to communicate more broadly. Our childtime experience has been less than stellar. It would appear that the administration is focused on money and not on the children with whom they're charged. They're constantly playing games moving kids around which is more evident when you speak with other parents. There's a lack of transparency. It feels like a hassle every time you have to deal with the administration. But that's the administration. Some of the teachers have been great, though there are those that are not so great. That became more apparently when our child came home complaining repeatedly about his day. Needless to say, I wish I would have removed our child sooner than we did."
“Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your feedback, and are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with our school. We take customer reviews seriously, and would like the opportunity to talk to you in more detail. Please give us a call at 866-244-5384.”
"Good school. Like the philosophy under care system.they love children. It's a second family."
"We love Childtime we just wish it was more affordable and/or we weren’t always being charged extra for activities and programming."
"It has been so nice to find a place for my daughter where I feel confident and at ease, when I leave her and head to work. She always seems happy when I pick her up each day. I love that almost every teacher in the building, not just her fabulous ones in her room, know her name and want to say hi/bye to her."
"I have three children and this is the third daycare center we have experienced. It is truly wonderful. The teachers could not warmer and more engaged with my son. I'm happy every day to bring him there. The director, Suneeta, and her deputies are also amazing."
"Experience has been just ok. To be honest I am just waiting for the échouent to end so we can leave all together"
“We are so sorry to hear this. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, please call us at 866-244-5384. We look forward to hearing from you.”
"We think the teachers are fantastic and have had a wonderful experience so far. Everyone is warm, welcoming and we can tell they truly care for our daughter."
"The location is convenient. The quality of the facility is modern and what you'd expect in downtown Bethesda. The center has experienced excessive teacher turnover in my child's classroom. Four teachers in less than 6 months left the center or the classroom and the changes were poorly communicated to parents. The daily updates provided on the Bright Wheel app were minimal. Overall, my child has been safe and engaged. However, there were multiple occasions when I or my husband asked why our son had different clothes on or what happened after noticing a scratch or boo boo and the care givers or teacher didn't know what happened. Communication regarding classroom transitions for the kids and teachers leaving is very poor. My son's class lost 4 teachers in 6 months. There are some nice teachers but speaking with the directors often feels like getting lip service. Overall, more is expected at this price point for child care. Communication is a basic not an extras."
