"There are lots of additional fees that become overwhelming. Tuition increased, but no other changes occurred in and out of the classroom. Rather than activities they can do as a class, a fee is added if the family wants to participate. Also, the summer camp rates plus the weekly activities was not worth it. Students were doing very minimal projects for the fees added on weekly, per child. Field trips were nonexistent, although on calendar, Although a great resource, my two children will not be attending."
"Overall we've had a great experience, the teachers are great and care for the kids. However I feel there has been a bit of turnover in teachers over the past year, the teachers that are there are sometimes overworked and understaffed. Management addresses when there are concerns and helps remediate."
"We have loved his infant two teacher, that classroom provided our son with great structure and a warm, enriching environment. Due to illness/staffing I assume he has had to go back to infant 1 room on several occasions and that room is more chaotic and less structured or conducive for learning. It has been frustrating not getting updates regarding his room or what plans are. A message in the app saying his teacher is sick or letting parents know why the room change is occurring and when they estimate he will return to his room would be much appreciated."
"Overall everything is really good--but communication and sleep can be an issue. Teachers have a lot on their plates, but for example, the meal updates nearly always say x are all of their meal when we all know darn well that he didn't. I have a picky eater, so if he treats something new at school, I want to know! He's also not a great sleeper, and for the most part the teachers do their best to help him, but sometimes (and some specific teachers) don't even try, which is frustrating because he tends to get sick when his sleep is bad for several days in a row, and stay sick for weeks. There also aren't many people who can administer meds, and staffing is an issue, so often his medicine (not a prescription, so not a crisis) gets forgotten if I don't call with a reminder. I assume it's not easy to get certified to dispenser meds, but if it is, perhaps more teachers could get certified? Other than those issues, I think the school is a really good one, and I love the staff."
"We just started a couple weeks ago. The teachers seem experienced and caring. The principal has been responsive, and on top of things."
"I appreciate the communication between myself and the teachers and directors at the school. I feel safe dropping my child off but I would like to see more learning and interactive ipp"
"The teachers and staff are helpful. My son had a great experience in the 2s class with Ms. Missy and Ms. Elanda. He still talks about Ms. Elanda even though he is now in the 3s class. Ms. Missy is his teacher for 3s as well and he talks about her even on weekends. She is so good and patient with him. Ms. Angie who he sees in the morning is also great with him and helps him feel comfortable when he gets anxious when mom or dad leaves at drop-off. He's been a little anxious at time and I really appreciate everyone being so great at helping him feel secure and getting him involved with activities."
"Overall, they do the best they can! My baby has improved on his independent play time"
"I love this school I have only had one issue with one child that has been bullying my child and nothing is really being done about it"
"My overall experience has been exceptional!"
"The Director and Ms. Debbie are the best! Their energy is infectious!"
"I have been stressed. I have been here a little over a month. My child isn’t progressing at all. I bring it to the teachers and administrators and I don’t get answers. They don’t seem to really know what they are doing. I don’t see the teachers interacting much with the students. They play more with toys then they learn. My child has stated numerous times that the food provided is nasty however we aren’t allowed to pack lunches. But when they have parties we are allowed and asked to bring in food for the parties. I want to pull my child out but she never been in school so I don’t want to make her uncomfortable being that she use to here now. I don’t and won’t recommend here. They made me think this was the right fit by how my interview went but it’s the total opposite and I wish they will be more responsible."
"Leigh has been with our kids since we had them at the Alverser location starting on 2015. She's definitely a part of our family now and we trust her judgment and care with our children entirely. she's warm, innovative, organized, and always makes sure parents are kept informed and up to date with events, closures, and changes. I wouldn't dream of sending my kids anywhere else."
"Lots of changes in management and turnover of teachers since childtime purchased daycare. Unable to access teachers or see whats going on inside since covid. Cameras have no sound and its hard to see whats going on."
"When it was Childrens House it was lovely. It has changed since taken over. Communications are not great."
