"I ordered a Nikon P900. A day later, I received an email from Rosanna ( Cameta Representative) that my credit card company had to approve the recipient of my order because it was not me or my address. The camera is a gift to a friend in Tucson, Az, I live in Kalispell, Mt.
I called Visa and explained the situation to them. Their response was that the don't now nor have they ever verified their customers' items being shipped to addresses other then their own.
I then called Rosanna back and explained to her what Visa told me.
A while later she returned my call and said her supervisor would make a "one time" exception to company policy.
I'm a repeat customer and who I ship products to, is, and should be none of your business as long as my financial house is in order. If you require your customers to have their gifts to friends, relatives, etc verified by credit card companies, Cameta Cameras will be the loser."

"I purchased a camera and kit UPS red and since my order was after 1pm(1:30pm) it could not ship until the next day. Company policy I understand so I chose UPS red and paid $29 to make sure it would come in time for my vacation. What a nightmare 7 calls later with ups they handed my package off to another carrier working late so that I could get my package. You must be home to receive the delivery and they have it restricted to change the delivery address or be able to hold it at the UPS hub for you to pick it up. I was told their was nothing they could do for me luckily UPS was very helpful and after failed delivery attempts during the day while I was at WORK which most people do during the day I got my package at 7pm the night before vacation. Then I found the same camera for $100 less a week later. Just be careful!"
