"I purchased a set of snow-pants last December and was pleasantly surprised with my purchase. While the delivery took a few day longer than I had hoped (it was near Christmas....so no big deal) I was overall very happy with my purchase. They had a wide variety of options along with great onsite reviews from customers of theirs which I found to be very useful. Pricing was in line with the quality; my pants weren't something I can use for years to come like my husbands Burton snowboarding pants, but they surely did the trick and kept me dry and warm while toting around 2 kids, a husband and 2 snowboards!"

"Campmor played bait and switch when I tried to buy a tent. THey had a price marked on the tent and when I went to buy it they charged $60.00 more at checkout. Then they sent sales people back to remove all the price tags even the one on the tent I had already purchased. The manager was very rude and didn't care about coutomer servive!"

"Campmor customer services is the RUDEST ever. I ordered 2 WOMAN Khumbu Fleece Jacket, but they sent me 2 GIRL Khumbu Fleece Jacket. I paid $7.99 for shipping. They refused to exchange them. I have to cancel the order and also pay for the return shipping. VERY VERY UNHAPPY."

"Some of the prices at Campmor seemed too good to be true. But an item that I wanted was 50% lower at Campmor than at their competitors, so I took the risk and ordered it. I'm glad I did, because it arrived and was brand new, still wrapped, and a genuine product. I ended up paying $100 less!

The only issue I have with them is when I left a review for the item. They actually edited my review and took out a couple of my comments. I don't like censorship at all, and in this case I don't know why they did it. It's not like I said anything disparaging about Campmor - I did not. I only mentioned how a non-essential accessory included with the item had snapped in half in the box, and they removed that comment.

"I've only purchased twice from Campmor, but have had a good experience both times.
Their prices are competitive; often one of the lowest if not the lowest price. They offer free shipping for anything over $100. Then, to top that off, they ship immediately, as in, the next day. If you live somewhat near the NJ area, you'll often get the item the very next day or 2 days later. I had never heard of them before but because of the good reviews on here, I wasn't afraid to give them a chance. Now I'm here adding to the pool of good reviews.

"I ordered a Gregory backpack and a Gregory rain cover which were in stock according to the their website with a 2nd day air delivery.
they didn't sent me a shipping confirmation email and I found out that the backpack was back-ordered only 2 days later when I tried to track the order.
the backpack arrived 4 business days after the order was made.
The customer service of the store didn't agree that I deserved a refund for the 2nd day delivery a service that apparently I've paid for for no reason.

"Worst (attempted) transaction ever. Tried to order online. Order was apparently rejected by someone at Campmor for being fraudulent. Since Campmor never tried to contact us, we waited for the item and eventually decided to enquire. Though the credit card company had approved the order and thought nothing wrong of it, it had been cancelled by Campmore allegedly because the delivery address did not match billing address (I wonder if we are the first customers with two households?). We phoned and placed the order again, only now one of the items we wanted was out of stock. The following day we were told that the order was stopped again, and that WE had to prove that it was not fraudulent if we wanted to procede. I requested to talk to the supervisor, who tried to lay the blame at the door of the credit card company. However, clearly the credit card company was perfectly happy from day one to process the order. I told the supervisor that I have to assume that the issue is the foreign accent and name on the order since neither the person in customer support nor the supervisor could give any reasonable explanation why they were refusing to sell to us. Their suspicions were 100% based on prejudice, we are foreign so we must be a fraud and the burden of proving otherwise is on us. they did not even try to explain anything else (other than lying about the credit card company). Instead of dealing with the complaint the supervisor told me to take my business elsewhere, which I will happily do hereafter. This is the worst incidence of this kind I have seen since moving to the US and I hope it will remain the worst. Conclusion: if you happent to have a Spanish sounding name and even worse, an accent, save yourself the insult and shop elsewhere."

"Placed order for a Weber grill brush (brass). Prompt shipment next day via UPS Ground and delivered a week later. However, noticed item brushes were stainless steel instead of brass. Called customer service inquiring about either a replacement or a complete return and refund. Service rep was apologetic and polite. Mentioned that was an error on Campmor's part and that the web folks probably did not update the description. Offered to credit me back completely and did not trouble me to send it back. I am very impressed and would definitely shop their again."
