"I ordered two canvas prints from Canvas on Demand, one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. The items arrived quickly and the packaging was pretty good...overall the shipping process would receive 5-stars.

Unfortunately, the frame on one of my canvases was very bowed/warped, preventing the canvas from laying flat against the wall. In addition, the canvas was not stretched perfectly, so the transition from the image to blurred color from the front of the canvas to the side was not as smooth as it should have been. When I contacted Canvas on Demand, they were very responsive and sent a new canvas within 1-2 days at no charge to me. They did not even require me to return the product with quality control issues. Due to this, I would give their customer service 5-stars.

When I received the re-made canvas, I was happy to see that the frame on the remake was not bowed at all. I still thought that the stretch of the canvas was not perfect, but it was better than the previous. Unfortunately, the remade canvas had a frame that was not completely square, making it impossible to look straight while being level. I split the difference and it works okay, but I still think their quality control is not where it should be. The canvas with the issues was a custom size, so perhaps their standard sizes are better controlled in terms of their frame dimensions.

Overall I give the company 4-stars for the great customer service and shipping, but I'd rather have a 5-star product with 3-star shipping/service than the opposite of that. I will likely order any future canvases from another company that I have worked with before...whose quality control seems to be a bit better. "
