Notes: I placed an order by phone and was advised that it should ship the same day. I received an e-mail confirming my purchase that also advised that I could access my order status and tracking info via their website. When I tried to use this feature I was unable to because I was required to enter my password but I don't have one because I ordered by phone. I sent an e-mail to customer service requesting assistance with this issue but no one responded. I checked info on the FED EX website which indicated that shipping time to my area from Caplink should only be 1-2 days and it's now been 4 business days since I placed my order. I have not received any communication from Caplink indicating any problems. I guess you have to suffer the aggravation of poor customer service and slow shipping to get a good price."

"UPDATE 6/20:
Turns out that one of my packages was missing a part due to Garmin's QA. I notified CSR again on 6/15 and they told me to RMA the part. To my surprise, they sent out the replacement the next day with a prepaid freight label in the replacement box so I could mail it back to them immediately.
I also asked for an explanation as to why my order had taken so long to process. I was informed that my order did not go out on Thursday as I was told countless times. On 6/6, the California warehouse sent out a huge inventory of these Streetpilots to the Rhode Island warehouse. Which is why my order did not ship until Monday, 6/13.
Though I'm changing my rating from Somewhat Dissatisfied to Somewhat Satisfied due to the expediency of my RMA and the CSR's thoroughness, I still have to wonder about their ability to track inventory and ship their product out. Overall a shaky experience and I would purchase from this store again only if their price was considerably lower than the competition.

This store had one of the lowest rates around my area for the Garmin Streetpilot 2620 and the ordering process was relatively easy. However, the shipping of the product I ordered didn't go so smoothly.
The e-store was in the process of upgrading their shipping/tracking system when I placed the order. I placed the order on the website mid morning of June 1. When I went to check the site the following day, their shipping/system reported that the product had not yet shipped so I called to confirm. I was told that something had gone wrong in the shipping system upgrade and the CSR (customer service rep) was unable to pull my tracking #, but it should have shipped on June 2. I checked on June 3 and noticed the website still reported it as not shipped so I called again inquiring about the order. System was still down so I couldn't get a tracking # that day either, but he did mention that my order would ship from the CA warehouse instead of the RI warehouse so I would receive it on 6/6 or 6/7.
On Saturday, I receive an e-mail from the company going out to their customers stating that there were complications with the shipping system upgrade and that all orders except for the Garmin Streetpilot 2620 had gone out within 24 hours as advertised on the website. Any order for the Garmin Streetpilot 2620 that was placed AFTER June 2 at 1:30AM will not go out until next Tuesday/Wednesday. It also stated that their email system was down on friday due to the upgrade so I understand why I didn't get my tracking # on Friday.
Wednesday comes and goes and I still have not received anything so I call CSR again on Thursday asking for a tracking #. Still am unable to get one on the phone, but the CSR offers to email me the tracking # when he gets it.
On Friday, I call them midday and CSR informs me that I should receive the tracking # by the end of the day via email. I check my email on Saturday as I had flown out of town and just touched down early Saturday morning and still no tracking #.
On Monday the 13 I call CSR again asking for a status of my order and he tells me that it should have shipped a while ago. Puts me on hold for about 7 minutes and comes back with a tracking #. Unfortunately I was unable to take it down atm because I was on the road so I asked them to email it. I finally got the tracking # about 3AM on 6/14 and to my relief it finally shipped. However, the tracking # informed me that my package was shipped out on 6/13 and not on 6/2 as was previously told to me.
The store price was unbeatable at the time I ordered the GPS, had free ground shipping and was relatively close to me so I thought I found a good purchase online. Call it bad luck, but this order should not have gone like this. As helpful and nice as the csr was, he didn't seem to have the information I needed even after the time that the repairs to the shipping system were supposed to be done. It was stressing to not know where it was or if it had even shipped despite being charged on 6/1, the day I ordered. "
