"I found this company on EBay looking for Mercedes Parts.
I had a lot of parts to order so I called the store and
Spoke with Drew. He was very helpful and emailed me my order and price
Until I was ready. The following week called him back confirmed the order
Got all Bosch part the next day. My car runs great. If you call ask for Drew.

"Seller enticed Ebay purchase by displaying false information on the compatibility of vehicles with the auto parts he offers for auction on EBay. When the winning bidder finally gets the part, he discovers it doesn't fit and sends it back at his own expense only to learn a 20 percent "restocking" fee was charged. A tidy little profit center....send the same part out over and over and make $30 on each return...part still
available to lure the next unsuspecting soul.
This seller has a history of falsifying compatibility information for the sole purpose of making easy money
off the 20 percent restocking fee.

Bad seller - stay away!

The listing error was not mine...I bid in good faith, so should get entire refund.

Addendum 12/8/2011: Response to CPD: Did not specify 4WD because this idiot listed the spring AS 4WD COMPATIBLE IN HIS EBAY AUCTION DESCRIPTION. And even after I pointed out the error, subsequent auctions for the same spring had same wrong information for MONTHS! And I tried to return the spring after 3 months, a reasonable time. It took CPD 5 more months to refund back only part of my expense in purchasing the part they falsely advertised as compatible. Stay away from these guys...go to Rock Auto or PartsGeek or AutoHausAZ...where you can get KNOWLEDGEABLE advice.

"Thanks Don! I loved the one on one attention especially since I wasn't that familiar with the items I needed. I was looking to save money on a timing kit and was pleased to find Car Parts Discount was a fraction of what my mechanic wanted to charge me. It was fast, easy, and a great brand. "I was able to find a specialty kit on their website for much cheaper than so many other online websites. The kit shipped and was delivered with no problems, saved time not driving around to stores trying to find what I needed. They appear to have great prices on a lot of different car parts and tools, I will definitely check their website the next time I need a new part for my truck. "

"I will never buy from this company again. I ordered an item (weighs less than 3oz) from them on November 22, got an e-mail from them on November 23 stating the item has been shipped via First Class Mail, which is NOT true. The item was shipped via UPS Ground instead. The Tracking says it will arrive on November 26 but it did not get here till November 29. I was charged about $6 for shipping for this under 3oz item. I checked with the Post Office with the actual item and packaging and it only costs $2.36 with Delivery Confirmation. Even Priority Mail is cheaper than that. I contacted the company, this is their reply: "We can only charge what is displayed within the shipping calculators. Through our direct website, we do charge a handling and packaging fee. For any future orders, if you are not able (or do not wish to pay) to pay the shipping cost displayed, please do not purchase the item."

Also, they advertise at their site under the Help link,

Question "Will you match a lower price?"

Answer: "YES! Our price match guarantee will match any price found at another store for the same product. Simply call us so that we can verify the price. Once we verify the price we will either: 1) Update our price to match or beat the competitor price, 2) E-Mail you a coupon code to match the item price, or 3) Give you an instant rebate for the difference."

That is NOT true. I found the exact same item on eBay that is cheaper including shipping. I contact them and they replied: "We do not match prices off of eBay. EBay is comprised of independent and private sellers. If you find an item on a competitors direct website, and we are able to verify that it is the same brand and OEM part number, we can match the price at the time of checkout. We are not able to price match after an order is placed. We need to be called before the order is placed."

I sent the parts back. There is no problem in getting an RMA. It cost me one third their shipping charge to send this 3oz item back in a padded envelop via USPS with tracking. I finally got the "full" credit (less their shipping charge) almost two weeks after I sent it back. They only process returns every Monday and issue credit the following Friday. Everything takes time with this company from getting the order to getting the refund. Now I am done with them after eating almost $10 shipping charges both ways.

"Absolutely dissatisfied with your company. I placed an order for PRIORITY OVERNIGHT shipping on Friday November 19th at 10:00 a.m which cost me $46.00 and I was told on Monday, today, that the part was in stock in another warehouse and it takes 1 to 2 days for them to ship it. So I paid all that extra money for absolutely nothing. Get your supply chain management strait and maybe you will earn more of my business for now you are disreputable. Real companies get your order out when they say they are going to."

"First let me say you have the lowest price I could find online, but one of the longest shipping times, my order was placed on July 14 and shipped on July 23,and delivered on July 28, that's poor service, if you don't have it in stock at the time order is placed, Note it on your web site so people will know there will be longer shipping times.
