"Over all a good experience. Prices are good and shipping reasonable. Like many on line auto parts catalogs the item descriptions require care and good knowledge of the part you want. Better descriptions would be very helpful, even a photo would help. One item that was boxed arrived with minor damage but is perfectly usable, the other two were shipped bare with an adhesive label attached and arrived in good condition."

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CAR-STUFF.COM!!

Ok so let me tell you my story. I ordered a item from their site because the price was very cheap than other places. There is a reason why it is so cheap though...

I first attempted to order it through their website, but as soon as you hit the place order button, it takes you back to the home page.. No confirmation or any other pages that says order complete! Just back to the home page...

I called the company to make sure if my order was placed, and the customer service rep said no it didn't go through, and he tried to take my order again through the phone. As soon as i told him the item number, he stated that the item would have to be sent to the manufacturer to be custom made for my car, and that it would take 4-6 weeks to make.. I don't get why it doesn't say that at all on the item page, i'm assuming they have it in stock like any normal company that sells car parts.

After a few minutes i just hung up on him, i didn't want to even order with them anymore. A few hours later i checked my bank account and i noticed that there was two charges on my card from their company, for the amount of that item and another charge of one dollar. I went on their site to chat with their 24/7 customer service reps to ask why in the world i had those charges when earlier the rep had told me the order didn't go through..

The rep asked me the same three questions like four times, what was my name, email, and order number. I told him i never got no receipt whatsoever. He then told me that the order did go through and that my order would be shipped within 10-14 days. I then told him how is that possible if another rep just told me that you don't even have that item in stock, and that i would take 4-5 weeks to custom make. I repeated three times that i just want to cancel that order, and that i wanted my money back.
He then said that my order was processing and that i couldn't cancel it until it ships..

After going over the same questions a few more times, he finally said ok it is cancelled that i should expect my money back within 3-4 days.

I read other reviews after this mishap, and other people claim that this company isn't in the US, when they claim they are.. They are in the philippines.

"found that items shown in inventory were not. even when i asked a helper if it was in stock after I place the order a day later the item was then not in inventory. then i had to wait for credit to be applied back to me."

"Outstanding. The prices were great, the shipping was very quick and everything I got fit like it was straight from the factory.
When one of my parts was back-ordered, they promptly called and e-mailed to let me know. They gave me the choice of cancelling at that time or waiting 10 days, which is what I chose to do. Ten days later they emailed again saying that they cancelled the order. They never charged my credit card for the part.
They promptly responded to my emails and were friendly and helpful on the phone and via email. I will be using them in the future and definitely recommend them.
