"I sent in $750 worth of gift cards before Christmas and received my check right after new years. The delay was because they had to phone-verify---where/when I purchased the gift cards I sent in---since I was a first timer and the amount was rather high (I see nothing wrong with this process. They have every right to make sure that they are not buying some stolen gift cards). Reasonable prices and great overall service. I would do business with them again."
"I bought a gift card recently and tried to use it a few days back. The gift card had zero balance and I tried contacting them since they offer a 100 day guarantee on the cards. I have received no response so far. I'll wait a few more days and if I still receive no response, I'll file a claim with my credit card company"
"THIS REVIEW IS FOR SELLING GIFT CARD ONLY.
I sent the gift card with USPS with insurance as well(You are mailing a gift card. duh...). I kept tracking regularly and it arrived 2 days later. I got the confirmation email the next day they received it and they said the check has been mailed and I would receive it in 3-5 business days. I received it on the 4th business day. Flawless. I am not biased with what the other reviewers said, but just don't be stupid. BUY INSURANCE. Their free mailing does not come with tracking or insurance so USE YOUR OWN. With my experience, I rate this company 5 stars. No complaints. Just flawless."
"The first few times experience were great, until you hit a big item and need their customer service, then you can forget all the great experience you had from them, the customer service could reap all greatness to rumble in one instant
Bought a electronic coupon, wait forever to come. Ask to cancel after I could not wait any longer and they sent the coupon then. Ask to cancel order again, they give you all company policy BS and refuse, even I explained I have waited forever.
Slow, bad customer service and self justified company instead of customer justified service. Compare to Amazon, if Amazon is 10, Cardpool is 0.

"If you read the reviews carefully, the one star ratings are mostly from people who are selling gift cards to the company.
I've only bought from them so I don't know how's their buying service. After I placed an order for an electronic gift card for Best Buy, I received a phone call the next morning to verify my details since it was my first order with them. Then, within 24 hours I received my gift card number electronically. The amount matched and I had no problems at all.
Second order in June 2016, placed one for two electronic gift cards and I received them within 5 minutes."
"To be honest, after reading the cardpool.com previous review, I was so skeptical whether to trust them or not. My instinct was telling me to back off and try other websites, but they do have a really good deals. I bought hollister emobile code on April 26, 2012 around 5pm. They promised that I would received the emobile code within 24hrs. On April 27, 2012, they tried to reach me through my home phone number, asking for some verifications since it was my first time buying a gift card from them. After a couple or three hours, I received my emobile code. Since I didn't trust them so much, I went to hollister website to check for my emobie gift card balance and found that it has the same amount of money.
I thought I would give some time to give them a review.
Base on my experience, It is not so true that they don't respond through emails and calls."
"Cardpool is a total piece of crap company. I've sold to them as a bulk seller even and they don't respond to emails. It's unreal. It takes weeks to get your money and that's if you get it. Sometimes they "don't receive the cards". I'll never buy or sell cards from them again.
I did find a cool site recently that has good service: Giftcardo.com. They actually respond to their emails and treat me like a customer. Imagine that! Plus, they get me my money within hours. Unreal! I love it."
"I tried to sell a gift card to cardpool. I didn't get the money and I couldn't get a reply from them. Fortunately, I made a copy of the card. I reported the card stolen and got a new card. They won't take me off their email list. I have unsubscribed over and over again. Do not use!!!"
"Stay away from this crummy company - Cardpool.com. It was bought out by Blackhawk Network - the worst company in the gift card business. Their corporate number is Phone: ***-***-**** but it's completely useless, they don't care about customer service issues. Cardpool itself is a total scam, they don't have a physical office, their calls are routed to disposable cell phones, and they only have 2 employees - Anson Tsai (the owner - cell ***-***-****) and Jeff (order support - cell ***-***-****). The whole operation is linked to a PO box but all the action is happening at the owner's condo at 660 King St #223. They will lie to you, hang up on you and even block your number so you can't call them. Read the reviews online, they've stolen thousands of dollars from customers' gift cards, going so far as blaming the post office, when the post office has provided video footage showing them taking possession of undamaged envelopes. You've been warned! DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!"
"Not a bad service, could be better. Takes a while to get paid. Better options out there for sure. Not really recommended."
"WE purchase $750.00 of HOME DEPOT cards via Cardpool.
We needed to have copies of a few of the many that made up this transaction. We tried e-mailing Cardpool as they instruct and have been waiting on a reply for over 5 days.
Finally, I looked up thier number via Google. The number I found was ***-***-****. The recording informs the caller that ALL SUPPORT has been moved to the web. I pressed #0 and it gives you an option to enter an ext. I pressed #0 again and got the recording about support being only available via e-mail. I called back and entered a random ext #12 and got a gentleman who was very curious as to how I got routed to him. He asked me several times during our 10 minute conversation on how I got to routed to him. He asked for my info and that he would have someone call me. I first asked for someone who could help with my simple question. He said I'll provide that once you give me your info. Well, I gave him my name and contact information and the nature of my situation. He thanked me and then informed me that he could not find the direct contact information that he thought he had."
"Decided to try this site, purchased ~25 worth of gift cards to Lowes, these ecodes arrived in my mailbox within minutes and actually appeared to have the full amount. I wanted to buy ~$400 more worth of gift cards at Lowes and so I went ahead and purchased them. They claim I will receive in 24 hours. It's been longer than 24 hours. I emailed them a number of times with no response. If I don't hear from them tomorrow I will contact my credit card company and the better business bureau."
"Cardpool is awesome. I have purchased many gift cards from them and everything was great. I did purchase a gift card that had no value when I checked it's balance. The quickly refunded my money and gave me a credit. If you know you will be purchasing something you would be foolish not to see if Cardpool has the gift card you need to offset the price. Can't say enough good things about it. "
