"The Panaflow fans you carry are of excellent quality. The claims the manufacture makes about there patented hydro-wave bearing are true from my test. The test is to carefully stop the fan by pressing down on the center of the hub until it stops. The panaflow fans you can feel the hub actually moving down to the bearing surface before it stops. The hub, being suspended slightly with a film of oil, is protecting the bearing surface from any contact. This may sound super nerdish, but on all previous fans I have owned, you just rest your finger on the hub and there is no downward motion at all. The only downside is you need to do little wiring, but not if you spend a few more bucks."
