"I was hopelessly lost in what I tried to do. Not only did I apparently not succeed in installing the product i bought, but I also "lost" some working files in the process. Ray Bryan not only re installed my software but he also took time to find my files. He worked at warp speed and was very polite, which i know, in my own area of expertise, is not an easy thing to do when working with someone who knew as little as I did. I learned two lessons today, thanks to Ray, 1) Never again wait 18 years to upgrade to a new computer with the newest operating system and then figure I know what I am doing to try to load software into it; and 2) if I ever were that stupid to do it again, try to seek out Ray to again bail me out. "There was a bit of confusion during the download process. I selected and paid for Home and Student 2021 office, but when I went to download it the instructions said I had purchased another addition/version. I don't remember the exact name but it appeared to be a more costly version than I had ordered. There was a box to select your product but Home and Student was not one of the selections listed. So I clicked on the version that the instructions said I had purchased. I really only needed Word but usually purchase the Office suite. Anyway, it has functioned flawlessly during the few times I have used it and the download was without problems. I'm just not sure what happened with the download/product selection."
