"I ordered a brand new wd tv live on Nov 30 but after a lot of calls, they shipped product on Dec 3. Finally I received a recertified product without box. I called them and they promised to send me an email to refund but I did not received anything until now. They are cheat and awful!"

"The LightScribe DVD CD/RW drive was exactly as described. (Item # GSA-4084N.) After using the original bezel from by broken drive, inserting the new drive into its slot, then powering up my HP Laptop, the new drive performs flawlessly.

Further, the folks at Centrix International took extrodinary care when they packed the drive for shipment. It was packed in a bubble-pack envelope, then the envelope was packed with foam peanuts into a larger box. This assured the drive didn't bounce around in its packing, and was well-protected dutng the shipping process.

Finally, even with standard shipping, it arrived within 4 days after ordering.

You can't beat the quality, care, and price offered at Centrix International.

"I ordered the PlayTIME HV0109 WIFI media player on 1/14/10 at about 6pm CST and it was shipped on 1/15/10 via FedEx Ground. It arrived on 1/19, days ahead of FedEx's initial ETA. The device works as stated. I asked Centrix a few questions via email and they replied promptly. I only have one issue: the box was not sealed like I saw on an unboxing of the same product online. I don't know if this is because they check the item before it is sent out or if it was an open-box item. It was listed as New Retail on their Clearance section. There's really nothing I can do about it though without losing money i.e. 15% restocking fee and shipping both ways ~$20. I would lose nearly $30 on a $79 item if I wanted to return the device for a refund.
This retailer was the only place that I could find that sold this device because I think it is discontinued and not being supported by the manufacturer so I cannot compare prices. But I must say, a new device with similar features costs nearly double what I paid ($89 shipped with a free set of mobile speakers which added $2 to the shipping price). The speakers come free if you spend over $75 i believe. I might order from them again though. Some of their prices are pretty good despite everything else. A business is in it for the money so I can blame them for doing what they can to retain the money they get. If I was them, I might have the same return policy. Just like anything else, it's a gamble. Could be worse.

UPDATE: I think I did get an open box item. The anti-static plastic bag that the actual device came in was taped closed twice. Two different types of tape were used, one on top of the other. The first tape was what I saw on the unboxing video. Also, there was dust and crumb-type debris inside the device where the HDD is supposed to be inserted. So, the cheap price and clearance makes sense now. I don't doubt they have new HV0109s; I just think I got an opened one that had been waiting to be gotten rid of ASAP. Nowhere on the site does it mention that they inspect the item before it leaves their possession. The simple solution for them would be to say that they do open the item whether they do or not. No one could prove otherwise. Oh well I guess. I have no economically viable recourse either way.
Also, Centrix says they delete your credit card info after shipping but in the RMA section it states: "Advance Replacement. Product is DOA or become defective within 7 days of original invoice date. We have your credit card on file and you understand and agree that if the defective item(s) is not returned to us within 15 days;you will be fully charged for the item(s) plus shipping and handling." It's ok to keep it on file for awhile but don't say you delete it then seemingly contradict yourself elsewhere on the site.

"Excellent in all except USPS was not offered for Hawaii. Shipping thus added $42.00 to to a $22.79 product weighing 8 lbs.

I knew this up-front, so my hope is that Centrix will add USPS Priority Mail. Usually two days longer, but at a huge cost reduction. Sellers not providing USPS are always my second choice.
