"I bought a Western Digital disk drive (Wd1600ADFD) that was described as OEM - meaning "original equipment manufacturer". That means a unit that was purchased by a manufacturer of computers. This means the unit is supposed to be new.
When I installed the unit, it failed the Dell diagnostics. Past the 30 day warranty period, I called Centrix. They told me that the drives they purchase from Dell and elsewhere are rejects off the production line. They told me to call Western Digital for an RMA.
This means that the drive Centrix sold me is defective in some way by definition. They are therefore selling parts rejected by some OEM. Centrix is not an OEM.
The bottom line is that if you buy a drive from Centrix, it is guaranteed to fail."

Centrix charges a 15% restocking fee and shipping on replacement items. It was faster and more cost effective to order a new drive from a reliable vendor with better customer service and return policies instead of dealing with their RMA process.
I would not shop there again and do not recommend this store."
