"It's 09/03/2020. Cheaper Than Dirt website has a 20 round box of Ammo Incorporated 9124JHP-A20 for $59. This morning I bought several 20 round boxes of this exact ammo from my local gun shop for $17.50 per box. Dirt must be pretty expensive wherever this company is located."

"I know that gun ammo is hard to find but I purchased 20 boxes of 50 rounds of 22 long Aquila from Cabela 4 weeks ago for $2.99 a box. I went on line to cheaper that dirt and the same ammo from them is $29.98 a box of 50 I emailed them to verify and I received a reply today saying that is their price. That is a 1000% price rise as they were also selling it at the original price of $3 range. That is crazy and would never order from them or advise anyone to do it."

"I'm a first time customer, tried their online chat and phone service before placing an order. Both were responded with good manner and within 15 minutes. I think during this Covid-19 time, a lot of online store were more busier than before and lack of customer services, but CTD is still handling it well enough.

And they shipped out my order within 2 business days, way faster than many other stores that I have ordered recently. Their inventory seem to be accurate, so they don't have to wait for the item from their vendor, which usually takes weeks now.

"I used to be a customer with them for 7 years and bought ammo and magazines there. Never had an issue until this year, and I will never do business with them ever again.

They double-charged my Visa card, and took money out without ever sending a confirmation or tracking number. They now have NO telephone support due to covid or their laziness to cut costs, whichever way you want to see it.

I emailed them and there was no response for over a week. Finally after I said if I don't hear from them to cancel my order since they can't send what I ordered or even bother to email me tracking info, I'll have to dispute the charges with their merchant and my bank unless they will contact me to refund the order or tell me what is going on.

1 week and 3 days later, I get an email from a lady with a made-up excuse for a banner ad and 2 to 4 week delays which was NOT THERE when I ordered. She wasn't going to refund my order until I sent her a screenshot of the order screen and the screen before PROVING the banner ad saying what she stated was NOT THERE.

2 days after that she said she'd refund the money and cancel the order since they could not fill it and that it would be another MONTH before they could process the order. She claimed that their competitors had the same turnaround time due to Covid as they did when I said I might try them.

Guess what? 5 days later, their competitor not only filled the order but had ALREADY DELIVERED IT BEFORE CTD COULD EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW TO REFUND MY MONEY TO ME.

I wrote back to say that her competitor had a 4 day turn around time rather than 4 weeks and that all she and her company had done is lie to me. I asked her when she was able to return my money to me, and 2 days later (going on week 2!) she still didn't know.

I disputed the CheaperThanDirt bogus merchant charges she could not figure out how to reverse since they can no longer figure out how to do orders and provide phone service or customer service at all, and decided I would never again shop here for anything.
