"The quality of Chico's clothing has dropped a notch or two....crops stretch out after wearing a few hours......the decorative beading or printing on tees come off.......I find clothing does not launder as well and one has to take extra special care to insure wear.....
Button holes ugh and even the buttons are skimpy....
I do not like to feel like I and being taken advantage of......example: all items are 50% off if they end in 99.....or better yet....40% off if you spend $100........well lo and behold not too many items I want end in 99.....or it is difficult to spend $100 on one item (all are $99...and with 5% discount, you can imagine what happens...customer service suggest you just buy more....that is insulting......Chico's used to allow you to give the needed 0.5 cents or 0.50 cents to a charity enabling you not to have to spend ??????? to qualify for discount....no more......Chico's is losing market share for a very good, correctible issue.....

"For many years prior to 2009 , I admired the charm and ethnic vibe of Chico's clothing but nearly always walked away from purchasing because the clothes weren't tailored enough (boxy) and the material too rough. There was a Chico's very near Nordstrom in Bellevue Square, Bellevue Washington that I often shopped at and somehow around 2009, Chico's the Black Label Category really pleasantly surprised me. The Black Label items appeared more tailored and the fabric of a higher quality as well. In the past few years, the Black Label items have not been up to par with past high standards, nevertheless, there is still a good smattering of very nicely designed clothing (although not as consistently high quality) showcased in the store therefore I still purchase some of my clothing at Chicos. Chico's sales are outstanding and I have always been impressed by the creativity of the jewelry designers. I gave Chico's four stars only because the clothing quality has slipped in recent years. Also, salespeople in Chico's are usually very friendly and helpful but since Covid-19 and re-opening the salespeople have appeared a bit weary and stressed from time to time; not sure if it is because of stressful financial challenges for either the store or the staff but it has been just a bit less fun to interact with about half of the salespeople lately."

"I needed a dress for my son’s Sudden wedding that was to take place on a Thursday evening two and a half weeKs ago. He and his fiancée were able to secure an appointment with a Judge to perform the wedding at a gazebo outside the courthouse. The pandemic has backlogged wedding ceremonies. Fortunately, they were able to secure this slot. I only found out about this Sunday evening. I saw a dress on Chico’s web site that I liked and ordered it with express delivery, but wasn’t sure if I would get the dress before Wednesday morning. I live in St. Charles, MO and the wedding was in Olathe, KS. I told my concern to a rep and she saw to it that I got dress Tuesday morning. Chico not only sells beautiful clothes, they are kind and sympathetic!"
