"After 21 days and many e mails my contacts still haven't been delivered. It's been a huge waste of time and they won't ship a replacement shipment. For at least 7 days it shows sitting at their local facility but they never ship it (or it's lost) I have no choice but to cancel the charges. Stay away, too much work if there's a problem (most would just send a replacement shipment) "
"I bought 6 months worth of lens' during the pandemic as my optometrist was closed. Unfortunately, one of the lenses' I received had a defect that irritated my eye. It's not unheard of for a small tear to occur in the manufacturing process, so I was understanding towards them. I also knew this was the issue since changing to a new contact immediately relieved the irritation. I visit my optometrist annually, and my prescription hasn't changed in years, I also bought the same lenses I've always worn.
I contacted the company to replace the one single lens that had the defect and they refuse to refund me or send me a replacement until I provide my prescription (a bit of a hurtle during a pandemic).
After jumping through several hoops and finally obtaining my prescription, it was again rejected because my optometrist issues prescriptions for glasses and later converts it if the patient wants contacts.
I can't tell you how frustrating this is as a consumer to be given a defect product and to be not be granted a replacement until documents are provided. If documents are required for a refund then they should be required for the purchase or at the very least clearly stated that no refunds will be provided.
Don't waste your time or money. There are loads of competitors with better customer service."

"I will be holding all other companies to the high standard of customer service that I have experienced with Clearly. I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One basic pair and the other a pair of sunglasses. I placed my order just before the pandemic hit. I wasn’t sure that I would get them now that everything was in lockdown so I waited about 2 weeks and then I emailed. I received an email back the very next day saying that they were delayed (understandably) but I could rest assured my glasses were on their way. I received them a few days later. The basic pair were perfect! They were the best glasses I have ever had! The sunglasses were perfect too... exactly what I had ordered... except I didn’t like the size. I had ordered frames that were much too small for my face. I phoned and spoke to someone that was so incredibly sweet and helpful. She emailed me a pre-paid shipping label to use to return the glasses and I received that within minutes of getting off the phone. She also gave me great tips on how to order the right frames for my face. Amazing! From virtually trying on the frames on their website (so much fun!) - to receiving a follow-up email from the President and CEO - to getting the best quality glasses, this was by far the best shopping experience I’ve had. I will only ever get my glasses from Clearly. Thank you to the Clearly staff, and to the President, for standing tall through this pandemic and making this customer feel like I was the only one that mattered. You truly ROCK!"
"I have bought 5 pairs of glasses from Clearly.ca over the past 8 years and have generally been satisfied. However, I bought frames in March 2019, but within 6 months the paint on the arms had largely peeled off and the one lens is pulling apart from the frames. On submitting a warranty claim I was advised that they do not guarantee against damage and paint chips are not covered. There was no damage and most of the paint peeling off is not chipping. I am thoroughly disappointed and will need to find a supplier that provides good quality frames and a better warranty policy! "

Although I didnt immediately hear back on my complaint, once I did they went over and above to remedy my issue. My eye doctor was not wrong - Clearly is truly a customer service first kind of org. "I placed an order and Clearly charge my credit card and I was provided an estimated arrival date. 5 days later, Clearly contacted me and said they would not be able to fill my order all at once. They wanted to ship 4 boxes for the left and 5 boxes of the right eye and send the remainder when they got it in stock. I asked what the estimated date that was and the customer service rep could not provide details. I asked when I would I receive my invoice. They told me I would have to wait till the order is complete. I explain I was okay with this shipment if I would receive my invoice after the initial shipment as i needed it for insurance purposes. They refused and said I needed to wait for the complete order to go out. I asked again when that date would be and they again did not know.
Please do not take my order, tell me you cannot fulfill it and be unreasonable when i agree to your alternate shipping arrangement."
