"I'm wearing the new specs right now. They are a rimless, hingeless Perspective Black Titanium pair with a Polycarbonate lens.
In fact, this is pair #4 I've ordered. I ordered a pair for close work and computer work just a few weeks before this one, and this pair is a progressive lens for doing everything else.
The only suggestion I'd make is perhaps a little padding in the box so the glasses don't get bounced around during transit, but other than that, I'm happy as a clam.
I'd like to see a colour choice of solid and gradient tints for lenses, too--perhaps sometime in the future? Sure hope so, because Clearly Contacts is my #1 pick for getting eyeglasses.
Oh, and one more thing--my glasses were two days early getting here! What an awesome thing to see in the mailbox last Wednesday (May 6) because even though I live in a rural town, it was less than a week! I've told some of my old friends here in Burns Lake (I'm an old BL alumnus) and may be assisting a neighbour with his order soon. I'm loving the savings in cost--based on past estimates for a similar type of eyeglasses, I save anywhere from 45% to 85%, depending on who I get the estimate from--and that's no bull!
I've been advising people to get their PDs from their eye doctors--that's the best way, I think--and I've also advised them to watch the videos regarding adjustments and such--to educate themselves about measurements before taking the plunge for the first time.
