"I've bought my camcorder (Panasonic HDC-TM700K).
Very good price and customer service. Strongly
recomend. Will definitely be returning customer.
Happy Leon."
"Out of Business. Bought 3 cameras from CFD and an $110.00 extra battery that was not compatible. Now their phones are disconnected and website down."
"Nothing but crooks. Took my money and gave me damaged goods. They promised to rectify my problem but never did so. Mike swore parts were ordered for my Samsung 52" big screen TV but they never arrived nor did my TV get fixed. He also promised me a $89.00 credit to my credit card for the shipping taking so long. I Never got it. I spent $2737.00 with these crooks. Now their 800 phone number is disconnected and they don't answer their local number plus their website in down."
"On October 8, 2008 I ordered and paid for, via the telephone, a Samsung 52" Flat screen TV and Digitcom wall mount from Mike at Click for Digital. As of November 7, 2008 I have not received my purchase nor has this company answered any of my numerious inquries concerning this transaction. It appear that Click for Digital has STOLEN my $2119.98 and now I must try to recover it. ALL PROSPECTIVE BUYERS BEWARE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE AND BUY FROM Click for Digital AND MORE IMPORTANTLY DO NOT PAY THEM BY DEBIT CARD. "
"Simply a bad, bad service. All extensions from the 1-800 number end up in the same voice mail box and there is no response or call back after that. No answers for emails either. Paid for expedited delivery but they didn't bother to provide tracking number. it's been 2 weeks and nothing. I beginning to suspect that it's a scam."
"$2500 and 2 months with no TV. Ordered a Sony 52W4100 TV. Money was immediately withdrawn from my account but TV was never shipped. Continuous calls to "customer service" yielded nothing by some guy named Mike lying to me on every contact.
This is a true boiler room business. Do not order from them if you actually want anything. I ended up getting the same TV from Ultimate Electronics fro the same price as I was paying from this seller with their supposed "expedited shipping"
The worst on line sales experience possible. I have filed fraud charges with my credit card company. Avoid at all costs."
"DO NOT BUY from these theives. I ordered a digital camcorder thta was listed as in stock wehen purchased. Twenty phone calls and twenty lies later I still have not received the camera. I was charged as soon as the order was placed and have not received a credit. I was also provided with false tracking information. It is my mission to make sure that no one else buys from these crooks."
"Customer service does not return phone call messages or emails. Deal directly with your sales rep if you have any problems with your order. "
"Just to add to this - it is now August 22 and still not credit. Around the first of August, we had a shipping company trying to call us to confirm shipment of a tv from them!! We had already gotten the same tv elsewhere and was already in our living room besides the fact that we had cancelled the order and were told we would have our credit in 3-5 days!
We should have read the other reviews first. The ones that we read when we ordered are no where to be found now. We ordered July 1 and 21 days later, they still can not find our tv or provide a tracking # - their reply "it must have been stolen" Told them to cancel. They offered an upgrade but "oh wait, they are out of that one too". Said we found the tv elsewhere and to credit our credit card. Still no credit showing - they charged it the day of the order but can't seem to credit it a week later. Our credit card company is filing a dispute for us. Will not answer your email and when you call, good luck at getting someone to answer. I would not do business with them again under any circumstances!"
"I believe CFD falsifies reviews to lure buyers. I was leaving the country on Thu 5/22 and needed to buy a camcorder for a relative overseas. Before ordering, I called the company to make sure the camcorder was in stock and ask when they could ship it. They assured that it would be shipped out immediately, so I ordered with 3-day S&H. Mon 5/19 they tried to sell me another battery; I said no. I then called to see if my order had been shipped. “Yea probably.” Wed 5/21 FIVE business days after ordering, FedEx sent me a tracking number. I was incensed the camcorder did not come on the day of my flight. I called and demanded a refund in full plus express S&H. They agreed. My parents sent back the unopened box. We waited a month for the refund, often calling to see what the delay was about, receiving explanations containing the words "probably", "soon", etc. A month after I returned the camera, I was not fully refunded as promised. Instead, CFD kept $69 of my money. I was foolish."
"Let my start by saying that I had originally left a bad review for ClickForDigital. Then I was contacted by ClickForDigital and told if I removed my negative review I would receive an extra charger in the mail as a bribe. It’s been a month and no charger. My point is many people may have removed their previously posted negative reviews because they were bribed to do so (that’s the kind of company this is).
Anyway I had ordered a Cannon HV20 (claimed “in stock” on the website) excited by the low price listed on their website. The next day I was contacted and pressured to buying overpriced extra batteries, chargers, etc. I politely refused “just the camera please”. The response: “that will ship in 3-4 weeks” Click – they hung up on me. Should have canceled the order right there. Anyway kept calling back and calling back – I was told they had none in stock and some would be coming in “next Tuesday”. Kept calling; same story for a month. Finally I was told they couldn’t get anymore so I ended up just ordering the newer HV30 from them which I was told they had “in the warehouse”. Didn’t get it for 2 weeks. It was a horrendous experience. Just buy from a trusted seller – I know I will from now on.
"
"Scam prices. They call you peddling for you to buy the "required" equipment that wasn't included with my Sony camcorder. This way, the REAL price is much, much more. The guy was rude, insistent, called my home, my cell and e-mailed me repeatedly after I cancelled my order. There is NO option or way to remove the personal and business information provided when "registering" to buy. Beware, don't be fooled. Their prices are bogus."
"PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE!!! I had the worst experience of my life shopping at clickfordigital. I’m still in the process of disputing the charges with my credit card company because Mike from clickfordigital is not returning my money. I waited over 5 weeks for a TV that was never shipped. Mike claims that the TV was shipped on July 23 but when I asked about the shipping information he couldn’t provide any. But he was quick to say I’ll ship another TV out to you. I asked for a refund and he reluctantly agreed after trying to sell me other TVs. Well after countless phone calls and several emails I finally had to call my credit card company and dispute the charges because Mike would not return my money. Please read the reviews at http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Click_for_Digital they have a rating of 2 out of 10.
Once again PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE nobody needs go thru the experience that I had with clickfordigital. Please buy from a reputable company it’s worth paying a few extra dollars to have peace of mind. Believe me clickfordigital is the furthest thing from reputable."
"For those who call CFD and other East Coast resellers "crooks", I normally wouldn't use such strong words as I'm accustomed to their conduct of business especially given the sometimes substantial savings one could experience.
However, I've now learned, stubbornly and soberingly, that when it comes to making purchases where timing is of the essence, do think twice about them—even though, frankly, most of the details listed below was, at most, partially their fault.
Case in point: order was placed August 7, 2006 @ 921am. And, yes, I got the usual email to call them to "confirm" on 8/8/2006 @ 957am— full one day later.
None of this would be too big of a deal except 1) this item was a birthday gift for my girlfriend, and 2) I was planning on having us take this item with us on our out-of-country trip on 8/17/2006.
Unfortunately, CFD didn't ship the item until August *9th* @ 5:06pm-- which really means, aside from processing the package, shipping didn't kick in until August 10th.
The double whammy kicked into effect when I received the first "Fedex GROUND Home Delivery Exception" in my email. This was expected, and I was hoping that, hey, I simply call up Fedex CSR and I'll be able to will-call pick-up my shipment after work. No problem, right?
Unfortunately, Fedex "Ground Home Delivery" does *not* accommodate will-call pickups. After digging around, I learned that "Ground Home Delivery" really comprises of an army of sub-contractors who pick up packages and simply drive back to their own homes, with truck + packages.
Knowing this, I decided to take a day off from work— which isn’t the best time to do so, considering the mounting timelines and workload I’m recently having.
But, I never saw a 2nd delivery attempt! I called Fedex again. Although the lady managing the local "Ground Home Delivery" distribution center was extraordinarily accommodating, what's even more unfortunate was 1) they told me that my particular delivery-lady was a "difficult" one to deal with, and that 2) the delivery-lady she tried to deliver here-- when in fact, I didn't receive my 2nd sticky notice on my door today... or hear any knock on my door-- despite me sleeping about 10 feet away from my front door and absolutely not leaving my place for the whole day so far.
The manager said she’d be willing to “hold” the package for me because, I guess, I wasn’t so mean to her *shrug.* But unfortunately, the earliest she could do so is 6am tomorrow- our plane flies out at 5am tomorrow.
After the first delivery failure, even if I had request destination address modification, according to Fedex it would’ve taken 24-48 hours—which would’ve already introduced the possibility we might not receive the item.
So, no present for “the lady”, no fancy digital camera to take scenic trip pictures with."
"I ordered a Sony DSC-R1 Digital Camera. It arrived quickly and worked perfectly. The accessory kit I bought was also great and has everything I need to take great pictures."
