"I was shopping around for some Logitech Z-4 Speakers. ClubIt had one of the lowest prices around, shipped. Luckily, I noticed that they had a free shipping deal if you signed up for their newsletter, so I did (the newsletter does provide a link so you can unsubscribe).
I bought the speakers on a Friday, the order process went smoothly. I recieved a confirmation e-mail immediately. They item shipped out the very next Monday via FedEx 5-7 day, I them on Friday, that week. So the entire process took 7 days for me. The speakers were in perfect condition and undamaged."

"On July 27, I ordered a Conroe E6600 processor. ClubIT stated the chips were in their warehouse, ready to ship on August 7. On the shipping date, I found out that ClubIT did not have the chips in stock. They have not answered multiple e-mail requests for an explanation, and will not answer their phone.
Addedendum: On August 8th, I was contacted by ClubIT who offered me an OEM 6600 for $10 off, and expidited shipping for free. I declined their offer, as I want a retail chip and I can wait. Their head of Customer Service later e-mailed me, admitted that ClubIT stretched the truth in saying they had the chips in stock, but convinced me that part of the problem was Intel's handling of the Conroe rollout. My observations elsewhere on the web support that contention. ClubIT says that controls are in place so such a fiasco does not happen again, and they have promised me that I will be happy with their store in the future.
Given the above, I have decided to modify my reviews. I was not satisfied with their offer of an OEM 6600, but many people would have been happy to get it.
Addendum: ClubIT has gone way above the call of duty in resoolving my situation. In addition to honoring their original commitment after getting the E6600's in stock, they put me in touch with a representative of Intel, who stated that the error was theirs and not ClubIT's. I must say that this really impressed me, and has made me feel much better about recommending ClubIT. I will certainly give ClubIT a chance at my future purchases, because I know now that they are absolutely committed to customer satisfaction. As an aside, it was also very nice to have Intel, a huge faceless corporation, express their interest in the situation."
"I felt that ClubIT had a great price and that they shipped the item quickly. My only complaint is that since the order they have been sending me SPAM email with no way to opt out. I went to the website and unsubscribed from emails, but they still keep coming.
If you order from ClubIT, I would advise not to use your real email address unless you don't mind SPAM."
"I preordered the Intel Core 2 Duo processor from ClubIT because they stated on their webpage that they, "had it in stock, but were waiting until 08/07/2006 to ship it due to Intel rules." They even confirmed this when I emailed them asking if there was any way that they could ship it early. Well when 08/07/2006 came around, they called me and told me that they NEVER EVEN HAD THESE CHIPS! I can't believe that they lied just to get orders. I will never do business with ClubIT again. "
"I ordered a retail e6700 on 7/27 after being told by ClubIT that they had it in stock but that they couldn't send it out until 8/7 per Intel's rules. They assured me that they had the retail e6700 processor in hand and that it would ship on 8/7, the earliest day Intel would allow.
On 8/7, ClubIT told me that the would not be shipping my retail e6700. They admitted that they actually did not have any e6700s in stock when I ordered it. They did receive a shipment of e6700s from Intel, but they were all OEMs (it appears that they received the shipment from Intel after I placed my order). He claims that they never opened the box from Intel so they never realized they didn't have any retail versions. He tried to make it sound like they never actually lied about having it in stock since they never really knew whether they had it in stock. Regardless, when I was assured they had the e6700 in stock, they in fact has zero in stock.
Here's what I was offered to "fix" it: they would send me the OEM version, but at the same price as what I ordered my retail version for. It would have no warranty (that's what they told me) and they would throw in a free t-shirt. He absolutely refused to lower the OEM price to below what I ordered the retail version for, even though he admits I was misled and even though he acknowledges that the OEM does not have the fan/heatsink and has no warranty.
Sounds like a bait-and-switch to me.
