"Called & asked the GARMENT measurements on a long nightgown just now (11-20-17 @ 4:10 pm). CCC customer svc. woman gave the body measurements, 44-46". I repeatedly asked her for GARMENT measurement, which is ONE measure- not a range of inches. She kept lying, saying the GARMENT size was 44-46". I told her that if she didn't know to please tell me. Her answer was rude, sharp, and WRONG. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT CAN'T TELL THE TRUTH TO CUSTOMERS WHO PAY SHIPPING/RETURN FEES WHEN THE ITEM THEY ORDERED DOESN'T FIT! "
"I placed an order that never arrived. The customer service said they weren't allowed to call Fed EX so I spent 4 hours investigating (should have been their job) and Fed Ex said the box arrived at their facility empty. CC refuses to refund my money or send replacement items."
"Coldwater Creek scams their customers by selling clothing that does not conform to their sizing then charges us for returns of items guaranteed not to fit. This is a straight up scam that leaves our wallets lighter and nothing to show for it. Good luck getting a refund. Two months and still waiting for a refund of slacks sent back that were way larger than the size should be, so big they literally fell off and they were buttoned and zipped. Not only was I charges for the return but interest is still being charges on the Coldwater Creek credit card. This is bad business scammg their customers.

"I received the latest edition of the Coldwater Creek catalog advertising a certain type of jeans a couple of days ago, with three different washes (light, medium, dark). I looked online today and the jeans I want in my size are only available in the light wash. I have found that the Coldwater Creek website is sometimes incorrect re: the inventory. When I called Coldwater Creek today and asked to speak with a supervisor, I was repeatedly put off by the customer service representative, who said I had to give her the information before I was transferred to a supervisor, and after I pushed it, she tried to get a supervisor three times but couldn't, and she wasn't able to stay on the phone (even though I was willing to wait), she couldn't give me the corporate office phone number per my request (but did offer to provide an email address), and she said that Coldwater Creek doesn't have a backorder date for the jeans in the washes that I want. All of this took place over half-an-hour, which is way too long. I am extremely disappointed in Coldwater Creek; the company seems extremely disconnected and fractured."
"I used to buy ALOT from the original Coldwater Creek company. This company is NOT the same. Their policies are atrocious. I placed a sizeable order and paid a ridiculous amount for shipping thinking it would arrive in just a few days. It took 10 days for the package to arrive and one of the items was even missing from the package. I returned the entire order right away and now they tell me it takes 3 to 4 weeks to reach their warehouse before they will even BEGIN the return process. WHAT ???? I am in New Hampshire and they are based in Massachusetts.....the next state from me. I could drive to their location in 1 1/2 hours. Their customer service clerks are rude. Their shipping policy is ridiculous. The quality of the clothing is chinzy based on what I received ($421 order) and their return policy/return shipping is ludicrous. This company will NOT last. Do NOT buy anything from them. You will not be happy. I anticipate they will go out of business very quickly. Be VERY careful !!"
"I used to love shopping at coldwater creek, before they went out of business. I could shop in the store or on-line and returns were a snap. Then they went out of business...I was so sad. I then saw they were on-line again so ordered almost a $1000.00 of new clothes for a cruise and they STILL charged me shipping charges...wow! I had to return 1 item because they shipped the incorrect item to me. I used their return shipping label, since they were not going to deduct the return cost from my credit since it was their fault I was returning the item. I mailed it back on 5/24/2016, they received it at the return center on 6/7/2016 at 6pm. It is now 6/16/2016 and I still don't have a credit back on my credit card. I called them and they said it would take 2 to 3 WEEKS from the receipt of the item for the credit to be issued to my credit card! REALLY! I am never going to order anything from this company again. Horrible experience...do yourselves a favor, don't shop from this company."
"My first purchase from Coldwater Creek was a jacket. AFTER I paid, I found out that I was really pre-ordering. They didn't have the jacket yet. It was supposed to arrive in Mid-March (I ordered in Feb.). It finally arrived in late March, and was too big, even though I'd used their sizing chart. Because I thought I'd really like the jacket and wanted to get a replacement in the correct size quickly, I paid to FedEx the jacket back, rather than use their return service. After returning the jacket, I received an email that it would be another MONTH before they could ship a return jacket to me. Never mind. I didn't like it that much. Then they went ahead and charged me for using their return service. I called and explained that I paid to return the jacket by FedEx. I had to make copies of all the documentation and prove to them that I had shipped FedEx. I would have thought the FedEx envelope when they received it would have been proof enough. I will never order from Coldwater Creek again. I feel they use deceptive practices in not advising you upfront that you are pre-ordering an item and then use every excuse they can not to return your full purchase price."

I had trouble with the site not accepting the "no shipping charge" code so I called to straighten that out. I was told to call the next day after the items had shipped, so I called the next day -- to be told that when the back-ordered items shipped, they'd take care of it.
Back-ordered items?? Everything was in stock when I hit the "buy" button . . . but the customer rep assured me that it was just the tee-shirts and they'd ship in a few days.
Hmm. I checked my e-mail, and there was a confirmation of my purchases -- saying that THREE items were on back-order. The "few days" for the tee-shirts were in 2 weeks, and the third item wasn't scheduled to ship until after 3 weeks.
So I called back, and we went round and round for a while; the customer rep disappeared several times on hold but after 30-40 minutes the back orders were canceled and the shipping charge removed. So all was well, and I settled down to wait for delivery.
The delivery was in good time, everything was nicely packed, and it was all horrible. All of it. One drape-neck shell was made from a really greasy, smarmy material; another one felt and looked like it was made from a cheap, thin, poor-quality undershirt. A draped cardigan had sleeves down past my knuckles. The trousers were labeled with the correct size but they certainly weren't cut to that size.
There was one (1) item that was made from good material -- a dress. Nice color, lovely feel, well-made, and dowdy as heck. Just awful proportions. The neckline was too tight, the skirt was too long, and it made me look like I was wearing my grandmother's clothes. It could have been a darling little summer dress -- but it wasn't. Oh, man, it wasn't.
I am VERY disappointed! I'm not wasting my time with them again."
"Worst company and customer service ever!!!! My husband purchased me a gift card last year for $250 from the 'old' Coldwater Creek that is absolutely useless now. Now the 'new' Coldwater Creek says the old bankrupt company took everything with them.... Well, except the name, and website url, and branding but aren't responsible for any of the debts or gift cards. Honestly, how can anyone trust a company that does this? I'm not a big shopper and don't keep up with who's in and out of business. My mistake! One thing I can promise is I will never shop there again. As far as I'm concerned, if the company has the same website and logo, they are still in business. Nice trick Coldwater Creek, guess I can shred this worthless gift card."
"I placed an order on 7/30 in the morning. The catalog said to enter a code and I would get free shipping if over $75. I did and clicked apply and it said the code had been applied but it did not remove the shipping. I called Customer Service and was told that sometimes it took off the shipping and sometimes it did not. That makes no sense. They said to go ahead and complete the order and if my shipping was not removed to call them back and they would take it off. I called them back and was told that the order had not come through yet but when it did they would take off the shipping and send a confirmation email. That did not happen and I had to call back two more times to finally get the shipping removed. I have sent an email to them expressing my dissatisfaction and have heard nothing. Why was my shipping not removed at the time of the order. And why did I have to call 3 times to get this taken care of. I will not be ordering any more from Coldwater Creek. "
"I used to love CC and was sad to see them "go". So when I saw they had returned online, I was pleased - but somewhat concerned with their non-competituve shipping policies. I have made it a practice not to purchase clothing of any kind from online stores who do not offer free shipping both ways. But, I did order a couple of items on sale. Quality was only so-so. Glad I got them on sale because the original prices were not justified by the quality of the items. One top I took a chance on because the front was very cute, but when I got it, discovered the back was clingy and cheap. Do I return it and incur the shipping? Do I give it away? Do I let it hang in my closet til I finally give it away? I don't know. But I do know this: I will not be ordering anything again from CC. Sad. "
"I was a long time customer of the original Coldwater Creek - the "new" Coldwater Creek is a disaster. Incredibly skimpy/frumpy inventory, horrendeous customer service and ridiculous shipping fees. I ordered several layering tees - they arrived with HOLES in them. Called customer service to return the defective items, and was told that there would be no relief from the shipping charges. They still haven't refunded my credit card and it's been a month since I shipped them back.
Sizing is inconsistent - if you wore a medium in the original Coldwater Creek, be prepared to order a large or even extra large just to get a garment that will button over your bust or fit your arms. "
"I had high hopes for the new Coldwater Creek, but they have fallen far short. I ordered a blouse and a pair of jeans. The jeans were identical to a pair I already owned and loved, but had gotten a little tired. I ordered the same size. The ones I received were not even close to the size I already had. And, of course, I will have to pay return shipping although the size discrepancy is there fault.
I have written to them three times and gotten no response. They have received the return, but there is no credit to my charge card.
I think I am done with Coldwater Creek."
"I ordered often from the old Coldwater Creek and was happy with most items. The new Coldwater Creek has so little inventory and what they have is not attractive in my opinion. It is a sad comparison to the old company. I'm so disappointed to lose a company that always had items I liked. I see no reason to try to find gifts and items for myself anymore. So sad."
