The reason I gave a rating as high as I did was that Tiger Direct had it shipped next day air at their cost in order to make it before the weekend. I understand holiday affects, and that's why I opted for second day air. Another problem was that everything was in stock when I placed the order, but one of the seven items showed up as Backordered.Tiger Direct made a substitution when I called about it. "I know it wasn't Comp USA's fault that the TV I ordered was broken. You could clearly see damage to the external box and the subsequent packaging and product inside. Dealing with the returns department and company overall to get the TV returned and money credited has been awful. 4 days later the broken TV sits in my office waiting for the shipper to come get it. And several times I have reached out to Customer server for a possible replacement TV since they no longer have any of the ones I ordered. All I got was transferred to an on hold line for half an hour until I was auto disconnected. Then the next time I called about the return - wanting to talk to customer service I was transferred to some money savings monthly discount program. I would say your Customer service sucks, but in reality it is non-existent."

"I went to the Comp USA in El Paso on 9521 Viscount to buy a new computer in August. The tech shop there offered to build build it for a nominal fee that seemed reasonable. They told me it would be done by the end of the next day. When I came to pick it up, they had not even started work on it. They told me it would take one more day. I showed up the next day and the day after that receiving the same story. I was satisfied with the computer after I finally picked it up. However, I became very dissatisfied about a month later when a popup message on my computer informed me that the tech had installed a counterfeit version of windows on my computer. I do not intend to visit Comp USA again."

I have been contemplating several purchases so I decide to just go ahead and take care of these few things. I walk in and usually I get a hello plus "Can I help" but not this time. That's OK I pretty much knew what I wanted and where it was located in the store so no big deal. I spend some time - maybe 20 minutes picking out the items I wanted. I head to the what I think of as the normal checkout area - No one is there but I think someone will come soon. Nope - several employees saw me and chose not to say a word. I see another patron being helped at the computer repair area so I pickup my items and head over. The one employee that was there who was helping another did apologize for the wait. He had is hands full with his customer. I see another employee and said is there anyone that can check me out. He said if you tke your items to mobil. I move to mobil - there are already 2 people here and as far as I can tell there is no one helping them either.
I finally leave my items and simply walk out. I had at least $500 worth of items.
I'm always a little leary of CompUSA - ever since I had a major waranty issue - Yes this issue was prior to the new owners but I hate having to come home to go online to enter warranty info. Why can't they simply take my info in the store and add this warranty to my home phone number like so many others do.
Anyway I will be going to Best Buy which is a little out of my way but this was pretty much my last straw with them."
