"Absolutely do not fall for these guys' tactics. They lure you in with a good price on a camera. Then email you asking you to call them to confirm your order. When you do Jerry asks for you credit card 3 digit code, then proceeds to fast talk you into buying the $40 battery which is not included (which is sold at Amazon for $4 or $5). When the package arrives, you'll find an inflated invoice for not only the $40 extra but another $55 on top of that! They don't respond to emails, but I got them on the phone, they lie up and down and claim you agreed to buy the battery & charger (which would go for only $20 combined elsewhere) and besides I only naively agreed to the battery. BUT the camera manual states the battery & charger are included. The guys at Compudeals2u claim that's the case for the USA version. No where does it state on their web site the camera is turkish (which I believe is BS anyway). Call to complain and they are extremely and refused to do anything about it. I'm taking it further with my credit card company. Seems like this company is a few Turkish guys in a basement pulling scams on many folks. No refunds, unless you agree to pay 15% fee. "

Today,I called sales at compudeals2 & it was not an pleasant experience. Back when I ordered through them I was assured that it would take no more than 10days for the Cannon Camera (that was on hand) to be Delivered.I talked to a man today and asked for the status of my camera. First I was told it was on back-order & would take another two weeks! I asked why I was miss lead & was rudely told that there had been over sales? and that I could take my order elsewhere if not satisfied!! WOW this is customer service? After asking if He didn't like his job or maybe having a bad day, as why he was being rude. I was told my order is cancelled & to take my business elsewhere. Also he is the only person that works there?."
"I purchased a Nikon P510 on 8-20-12. I recieved the camera, and additional free products as advertised, on 8-23-12.
Everything that was supposed to come with the camera was included in the Nikon box.
I spoke with customer service after my order and was treated very professionaly and my questions resolved immediately.
I had read some bad reviews on this company and thought about cancelling my order. I'm glad that I didn't. I was very pleased with my experience with CompuDeals2U and would use them again. This is my honest unbiased opinion.

"They tried to pull the same thing with me. Called me the next day and tried to sell me a battery and charger for the Panasonic fz150 I bought. Telling me these items are sold seperately, the camera does not come with these items. When I told them I did not want to buy their stuff the guy on the phone became very rude and stated that my order was cancelled. LUCKY Me!!! AVOID THESE CROOKS!!!!!!"
"I would NEVER buy another thing from compudeals2u EVER again. After getting the run-around about the camera shipping (which they lied about twice) the one I received was in a red box, but the camera was actually champagne color and I ordered black! In addition, I thought I was saving $80 on the camera compared to Amazon, then when I called to get shipping confirmation they asked why I did not take advantage of their specials for batteries or battery chargers. Really? The camera was not going to come with batteries or a charger? By the time I was done, it was about the same price as Amazon, but there was way too much hassle, delay in shipping and it was the wrong color! My dughter really wanted it for her birthday, so settled for the color, but it just wasnt right and I did not want to risk returning it and fighting to get my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT!!!!!!!!! I really wished I had researched them before I bought. There are TONS of complaints about them on the internet. "
"After purchasing Nikon Coolpix S6300 off CompuDeals2U internet site and receiving email confirmation, customer service claims that they sold only the camera and not the Li-ion battery and AC adapter which is otherwise included in the Nikon's camera package, and marked accordingly on the Nikon packaging box. CompuDeals2U billed me an extra $70 for those items and $11.95 for shipping insurance (never mentioned when they advertised free shipping and handling. Further, they sent the wrong color camera; but, subsequently claim that they never ship color specific...only what they have on stock. My cancelling the order would be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus cost of shipping and insuring back to them. My effort to negotiate a compromise only brought an offer of $20 credit to my account if I kept the camera."
"I ordered a nikoncoolpix s6100 digital camera from compudeals2u for $84. & free shipping it ended up at $148.95 with things I didn't order or want, this is a buyer beware company!!"
"BEWARE!!! AWFUL COMPANY!! What a bunch of rude, hostile scam artists! I bought a camera from them that was dvertised at $179.00. When I called to check about the "free" offer that came with it, the guy told me I needed the special batteries that he would include for $39.95 with a rapid charger. I also asked for a camera bag which I was told would cost $14.95. Foolishly, I didn't aske for a total charge before hanging up. Imagine my shock when I received my camera and saw my credit card had been charged $284.95. I also had not received my camera bag. When I called to ask about the charge and the bag, "George" and "Tommy" yelled and talked over me and said I was charged the correct amt. I aksed them to send me my camera bag and they agreed to do this along with a $20 credit on my card. As of now, I have yet to see the bag or the credit. I have never dealt with people who are so rude and disrespectful. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company, as well as the BBB. PLEASE BEWARE! THESE PEOPLE ARE DISHONEST SCAM ARTISTS!!If I can save one person my pain, I will be happy for posting this."
"I agree with the rest of the reviews. I purchased a Nikon camera, the battery and charger are supposed to be included. WRONG. They charged me extra for those two items and told me they were selling/charged me for an 8 GB memory card but when the camera arrived, it was a 4 GB. If you try to return anything, it is an 15% restocking charge, I complained and he said read the fine print next time before you order something.I could have got it cheaper at Walmart or Target or anywhere. If one person reads this and does not order from them it will be worth writing this review."
"This is a follow up to my previous complaint BBB #8852118 against compudeals2u.com. After receiving the camera I ordered from compudeals2u.com, and after writing my initial complaint, I opened the package. The camera did not come in the retail box and I suspect it is refurbished. Inside the box was a Vivitar battery. The camera I purchased is a Nikon S8100. I called "customer service" and spoke with someone who claimed his name was Peter. I asked him why my Nikon camera came in a plain box with a Vivitar battery. He gave me a convoluted "answer" about how the cameras don't come with a battery or charger, but I ordered the U.S. model which comes with a battery. When I continued to ask why there is a Vivitar battery I was not given an answer, I was only asked "do you want to return the camera or what?". When I continued to ask about the product he told me that they buy the cameras separate and then package them themselves. When I continued to press for a reasonable answer to my question I was told "forget it, we don't want to do business with customers like you. Return the camera that's it!". I asked to speak with a manager and he told me "NO." Later he told me the manager was listening on the other line and was "laughing his *Word Rejected*off." He told me that it says that the camera doesn't come with a battery or charger in the item description on their website. I told him that this is not true. NOWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DOES IT SAY THAT THE NIKON
S8100 DOES NOT COME IN RETAIL PACKAGING OR THAT IT DOESN'T COME WITH A BATTERY, OR THAT IT COMES WITH A REPLACEMENT BATTERY FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER. I told him that was deceptive marketing and he told me that the customer "should know that it doesn't come with a battery." How is the customer supposed to assume that??? When purchasing a camera from any retail outlet they always come with a battery unless advertised otherwise, or unless the product is listed as "refurbished" and lists what is NOT included in the packaging. There are so many complaints from your dropdown list that apply to compudeals2u.com. It was almost impossible to choose one. Complaints about their bait & switch and deceptive practices are emerging all over the internet. It has been exposed that the "positive reviews" from their website are linked to another business. These guys need to be shut
down before more people have to experience this scam."
"SCAM! I ordered a camera in late November for Christmas. A week later I got an email asking me to call and "confirm" my order. When I called, they tried to upsell me a charger (the camera takes AA batteries) and accessories. I declined and was told all was well. A week later after hearing nothing more, I checked the status and now they say the camera alone is on backorder, but they can still sell me the "holiday bundle" (charger, card, etc.) for $100 more and ship today. I cancelled my order."
"Bait and switch! Shady bunch...stay away. They'll advertise product for $20 cheaper than all online competitors, then you'll receive an email that says you need to call and "verify your online order". When you don't buy their accessories, batteries chargers etc, they'll conveniently not have the item in stock. Then they'll quickly and gladly cancel your order. I've seen it before and these crooks are continuing the tradition of bad online service."
"I purchased a Nikon Lumix L110 camera for $149.00(USD) because they had the best price (prices for other items seemed ok, but not great, so I figured it was a legitimate "sale"). I got an email shortly after asking me to call their customer service number about my order. So I figured I should call. Bad idea (or good idea, really). He said that I forgot to enter the 3 digit code from the back of my card. The sales rep was very rude. He told me the camera I ordered was the "import" model not USA model and all of the language was in Japanese. He said if I order it, it cannot be returned. He then gave me the total for my purchase which was about $20 higher than my invoice. I started to argue with him about it, we went back and forth for about a minute but being disabled with a head injury I was not comprehending what was being said. I said OK and hung up just so I could think about what was going on. In that time I received an email that my CC was charged $184.95 ($35.95 higher). I call back and the same argument ensued but the matter of handling and insurance popped up (this was a free shipping order). I was told I should "do better research before ordering".
After hanging up I called my CC company and the rep reversed the charges and put the company on a watch list. I then canceled the card and ordered a new one.
www.compudeals2u.com is a SCAM, plain and simple. This guy should get arrested for what he is trying to pull. Do what you can to report the "business" as fraudulent to the appropriate organizations. He needs to be shut down before he steals more money and information."
