"SICK COMPANY. Ordered a ATI X800 XT PE from them in March. When the package arrived, the ATI box was shrinkwrapped and inside an UNTAMPERED UPS box. However, when I opened the box, I found not an ATI video card, but an old CD-ROM drive. I don't know if Compuhq pulled the switharoo , or if their supplier did, but I am still trying to resolve this issue with my credit card company. The Compuhq rep outright lied to me a couple of times and has been almost impossible to deal with due to his poor communications skills. First, he claimed UPS had stolen the card, which would have been virtually impossible given the state of the packaging, then he told me it would take 4-6 weeks for UPS to resolve the claim, (when I contacted UPS they apparently had already notified of the results before he replied to my message). I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission."
"This company promised to ship all items of my order that day and only shipped half of them. However, they charged my card for the items not shipped and even charged the shipping for those unshipped items. Over the phone they claimed I was mistaken and no matter what I said, they would not listen. The person who answered the phone both times I called spoke very poor English. They would not cancel the unshipped items, though I had every right to have this done. They are the worst buying experience I have had on the Internet in years."

"Looks like I'm not the first one who fell into this trap. At the end of January 2004 CompuHQ.com claimed on the website that there were $50 rebates on Sony Clie PEG-NX80V/U. My order arrived without a receipt and a rebate form. I called the vendor and inquired about the rebate. In response to my inquiry, I received a rebate form by email. The expiration date on the form was 1/31/2004. But in fact the rebate expired on 1/3/2004 (check www.web-rebates.com/sony). Advertising a rebate after its expiration and forging the expiration date on the rebate make this vendor completely unacceptable."
"Terrible service, They did not have the OEM motherboard in stock so they decided to just cancel my order even though they had the retail board in stock. Very rude, unprofessional, highly do not recommed, pay another dollar and get good service."

"Service was horrible. When I needed help with the product I bought, I was unable to contact them. The email address provided on the site fails to reach a recipient. This was further complicated by the fact that it was shipped from KNT Computers, who cannot be contacted either by phone or email. Bottom line, there is NO way to contact them. Their customer service is indeed nonexistent."

"This company charged me for a product that they did not have instock. Then cancelled my order without any notification. I only found out because I checked my order status. So I called to ask for the money to be released back to my account and the sales person got angry cursed me out on the phone for asking him to release the funds then hung up on me saying that he was well in his right. So to sum it up. First I was charged for an item that was not in stock. Then my order was cancelled with out any email or phone notification. Then I was cursed out by the sales person who handled my order for asking him to release the funds back to the bank so I could order from elsewhere. Furthermore the sales person hung up on me."
"At first, I received the notebook (no CDs, manuals), so I called them up and they said they would ship them to me. Apparently, the representative who sold me the machine told me that everything is included, and is as if I bought new, but reconditioned but the person I spoke with said it didn't come with any. So they will send me the associated CDs."

"very dissatisfied and disappointed. i placed an order with them before i went to vegas hoping that all my parts would come in by the time i get back and 2 out of the 3 parts came (from different companies). I just needed my motherboard from compuhq. i checked my email and i got delivery confirmation emails from newegg and crucial but nothing from compuhq. I checked my order status from the order confirmation email that i received from them and saw a big fat order cancelled on it. There was no explanation so i had to call long distance to their company to speak to someone about it. All they could tell me was that they had run out of the motherboards, i asked why i didn't get an email and the guy (who barely spoke english) said that they had sent an email out and he was looking at it. I clearly told him that i did NOT receive an email and he kept trying to convince me that i did indeed receive one. I told him forget it, since i already knew it had been cancelled and that i would get it somewhere else. VERY DISSATISFIED EXPERIENCE!~"
