Purchased a refurbished beige monitor (have you tried to find a beige PC monitor lately? They're as rare as chicken teeth) Recieved a used beige monitor with seven deep scratches on the screen and a bunch of blue marksalot (that cleaned up).

My wife didn't mention the scratches until a couple of days ago. I sent them a note telling them that what I received was not what was purchased (17 days after delivery about 15 days after opening the box). Asked for a replacement or price adjustment based on the fact that what was shipped was not described in on the internet (ever get a refubished item with substantive defects? - I haven't with about 10 refurished orders).

Received a note that since I did communicate within 7 days of purchase, I was out of luck. Not that they were sorry for the confusion, shipped the wrong item, etc. Not unusual terms for used equipment but never in 50 years have I had these terms for new or refurbished equipment (its typically 30 days).

Buyer beware when dealing with these folks. A little further down, there's a similar experience. In between, I lot of happy folks. So, I guess it just depends. In the words of Clint Eastwood "... are you feeling lucky?""

"Very fast delivery after a followup phone call from them to verify zip code. Wireless USB stick arrived just a couple days later. I had a little problem installing driver since CD did not auto load and trying to find the right combo to manually load the drivers took awhile. Documentation with wireless stick left a lot to be desired but that is not the sellers fault but rather the manufacturers lack of information. I had to go to manufacturers web site to get manual with another computer since the one I got this stick for could not get online."
