I placed another order for the same hard drives on 1/3/2012 and paid for 3-Day Air Shipping. Today is Thursday 1/5/12 and my order has just arrived at my desk again. Wow! I didn't pay for next day air shipping. Also, right after I placed my order I got a call from a very friendly lady to confirm my shipping address. I also want to note that the price of the hard drive has gone up about $14.00 in less than a month between my two orders, but for the speedy service that I got, I got nothing to complain about..."

"My experience had good and bad parts to it.
I ordered a new Sony Walkman and received a used one. That's pretty bad!
I window shopped at Compuvest website for a Walkman but did not make a purchase. A day or two later I received an email from them offering a 20% discount if I would, on a one time basis, purchase the specific Walkman that I had looked at.
I accepted their offer and a few days later the item arrives but it is NOT new. I called customer service and they said "look at the invoice, is says used" Indeed the invoice did say used. However; at the time that I made my purchase I had no invoice to look at, it hadn't been created yet. I was buying the item that I had shopped for...a new Walkman. Nowhere in the offer did it mention that if I accept their largesse that they would substitute a used item!
Customer service agreed with me and apologized for the action taken...sadly, they did not admit that they had made a mistake. To satisfy me they offered a full refund or a $15 credit back on my credit card if I would keep the used one. I chose to take the discount and keep the used one.
They have since made good on the partial refund.
So, you decide. Good or bad experience? I say, mixed."
