"Ordered a Nano 8G in January. Supposed $397 rebate. Never recieved the rebate. NEVER order from this company. Phone are not down and site is down. Also go by 3GPlaza. Crooks. Filing with VISA and FTC plus NJ Attorney General's office"

" Ordered three items in the wee hours of Monday morning. Received almost instant order confirmation via e-mail. Monday evening received notification that 1 item was out of stock. They offered an equivalent item that actually cost less. When I replied on Tuesday that the substitution was fine, my order was updated online and shipped out Tuesday evening. My complete order arrived, intact, this afternoon, Thursday 3/15/07. Not too shabby for standard ground.

They offer an interesting point system based on your purchase amount, giving you discounts on future purchases. I intend to test this program on my next order and will post results. Great first time experience.

Shopping for specific items on their website could stand a little improvement, ie no search window

"i ordered a mobo 3/3/07. on 3/6/07 3g's web site said that the mobo was "sent to warehouse." on 3/8/07 i sent them an email asking what was up with my order they responde by saying:
"Sorry for the inconvenience, We already ship out your package . Because the motherboard out of stock of our NJ warehouse, but on CA we have it, so your package ship out from CA to you, we are so sorry for the delay, but yesterday already ship out, Sorry for the inconvenience again."
Clearly they are not english speaking people. i'll never order from them again.

"Ordered an Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard and Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 CPU. Credit card billing system was down when I made my order so I had to use Paypal. I called their toll-free number the next day to verify they got my order and it shipped a few hours later. Prices were by far the lowest I could find and there was also free shipping. I have no regrets about ordering from Computer3G and would do it again as long as the prices stay competitive."

"excellent customer service. They had a product priced at almost 35% below market price. It was obviously a price mistake/ glitch in their system. They immediately refunded money. They were however not truthful in their reasons saying the item was sold out which seems highly unlikely because nobody who placed order after this price change got the product. "

"Will never purchase from them again. They had a $25+ free shipping deal so I order a mouse for $24 and a USB cable for $3. They said they were out of the USB cable. They took the $3 off, added $3.99 S&H and then sent me a wireless keyboard mouse combo valued at $21. Today it is 4 weeks after my initial order and they have still not given me an RMA # to return the unwanted merchandise for a refund."

"Worst online purchase experience.

Ordered 2 ASUS p5ld2-vm motherboards,
both are having somewhat defective on-board Gigabit network interface adaptors. This might very well attribute to ASUS's been using extremely low-end capacitors, thus, when your machines are frequently rebooted, some capacitors related to onboard NIC are not adequately electrified or de-eectrified, which causing the PCI bus not to recognize the NIC...

That's the technical detail on the product, back to the business side, 3gplaza.com is the slowest online retailer website I ever used, on and off for many times over the weekend, their customer supports are mostly lack of responses unless you threaten to credit dispute the charge(s) ...

"My order was delayed 3 days because the merchant made a mistake with my billing address and their credit card system wouldn't accept any of the Citibank Visa card numbers I provided, 2 one-use numbers and the regular number. I had to use my Chase MC instead.

The merchant's PriceWatch.com ad said the product would cost $77.99, delivered, and they advertised free shipping, but they charged a $3.99 handling charge. Even with the charge the price was very low, but they should not have advertised free shipping.

"I called Computer3G before I ordered a monitor to verify the specs. I spoke with Lucy and she checked on the item and told me they had to order it from their vendor. I asked Lucy if she could make sure that they could get this hard to find model, she told "no problem" just order it, if it's not right cancel it. So I did, big mistake, they e-mailed me my confirmation, charged my debit card, then the next day said it was on 'Back-Order'. I called right away got Lucy again to find out when they expected it, she told me they didn't know. I cancelled my order, they e-mailed my cancellation notice. Today (3 days later) I was charged full amount for the 'Cancelled / Back-Ordered' item. I have ordered thousands of items over my lifetime and have never been charged for back-ordered items before. I did call and I spoke with Ken(not sure) he said we have credited it back to your account the same day it was cancelled and I should have it on Feb 20th. He didn't seem to care to help me at all, when I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor he said they were all in a meeting.

I should have went my gut feeling and not ordered. Now I have to wait and order from someone else that I trust, once Computer3G credit hits my account.

I called back again to speak with a manager or supervisor, I was connected with Vivian an all she said they have several warehouses across the country and they 'thought' one of they had the item and that is why I was billed. All she could say was I am sorry.

"I wanted to buy a video card and a laser mouse from Computer 3G, the price was pretty good and seemed like a respectable on-line store. I checked my account every day and for 2 days it said processing, then on the 3rd day it said backordered and I got an email where they said the mouse was backordered and offered me another mouse with more features which of course cost more. I didn’t the other mouse so I cancelled the order. I got an email almost immediately and the hold on the credit card was removed soon after that.

Overall, I was disappointed with the backorder, but they handled the cancellation well. I might give them another chance, but then I’ll call to make sure that they have whatever I want in stock to avoid another backorder.
