"USA parts my ---! Power supply shipped "direct" from China, and took almost 4 weeks to arrive. It ended up being the wrong part - not as advertised (or promised). Oh, yeah, they also billed my account twice for the single part (I did manage to get the extra charge refunded).

The worst part of this is that shortly after I placed my order, I started getting bombarded with spam. I never had a real problem with spam in the 30 years I have been going online, but now it is ridiculous. All of the headers are forged, so I can't complain to anyone.

Short story: NEVER use this crappy company - for anything!

"Item arrived broken and 9 days later than it was supposed to. Called for a refund and they apologized but said they weren't liable if I broke it. For future computer parts I plan on heading to Fry's electronics."

"I ordered and paid for a NEW replacement laptop monitor screen. When the item arrived (8 days later w/FEDEX 2day shipping)it had been destroyed before or during shipment and was nearly folded in half. It was also obvious that rather than being a new item it was a used item (discolored tape, dried glue, etc). The merchant is unresponsive at contact by phone (voicemail only) and emails (no reply). I filed a damage claim with FEDEX only to find out two weeks later that they paid the claim to the merchant! So now this company not only has my money they also collected reimbursement from FEDEX. They are still unresponsive to communication attempts. Unfortunately I have discovered that this merchant has had their BBB membership pulled because of complaints and the web is peppered with postings complaining about this company. I am pursuing debit card (mistake!) reimbursement from my bank."

"I ordered a digital camera from them on 29 May. Immediately received a confirmation email and my debit card was charged, imagine that!!! After 4 weeks, attempted to call 4 -5 time and they always seem to have all their reps busy....BS!!!! Sent numerouus emails with no response. Finally submiited a BBB complaint, still no resolution. This company needs to be taken down. Wish I could afford a good lawyer!!!!!!"

"Ridiculous business ethics: I canceled my order.
After four weeks of "processing" time, complete with ignored emails and unreturned phone calls, I called my credit card company and asked them to cancel payment.
They refunded my purchase price immediately (shout out: Yay Visa!), and will forward any comments from Computer Parts Direct after they are denied payment.
Somehow, I don't think I'll hear from them...

"Terrible Customer Service. I returned a hard drive and they received it May 3/ 2012. It is July 9/2012 and I do not have a replacement or credit. They do not reply to my emails and phonecalls result in a a promise of email - catch 22 - stay clear of this seller"

"STAY AWAY. Placed an order online. After a week, still hadn't received any shipping confirmation, so I emailed them to ask for a tracking number. No reply. Emailed in again. No reply. Then, 6 WEEKS later, I received an email saying my item had shipped. By that time I had already ordered from another vendor, so I emailed Computer Parts Direct to cancel my order with them. Received an e-mail back from the mail server saying my message could not be delivered. Received that message several times - once a day for a week. This seller is a joke. I'm going to refuse the shipment & have my credit card company contest the charge."

"Please know that this company is almost completely devoid of any concept of customer service. An item I ordered on 18-May still had not shipped two weeks later. I called and requested the order be cancelled, as I needed the part for a customer. Days later, they still shipped the part, even though I had requested it cancelled. Now they want me to fill out an RMA, and I have NO confidence they will not try to charge me for return S&H.
Avoid this company at all costs.

"i placed an order may 21st, immediately recieved notice of order confirmation. June 4th sent an email requesting the status, after a week without a reply to my email sent another one and tried to call repeatedly only to recieve voicemail. i finally called my credit card today to inform them of any lack of notice and they are getting my money back. i have never written a review but i could not let this pass."

"Worst experience ever! Ordered 2 monitors a month ago and still have not received them! Correction, did receive monitor that was not the one we ordered and it came broken with no power cords. Have called them everyday to remedy this with no response. They charged my credit card the day I placed the order and I have not received any money back. AWFUL!!!!!!"

Ok here goes my 2 cents worth with this company. I purchased a video card that I wanted for a new quiet computer build. I wanted a video card that did not have a fan on it,after waiting 10 days the item was shipped and arrived.

To my surprise it was not the card I ordered or the card that was displayed on the picture of the item. I called to have it returned and a young lady answered with a very nice southern voice, I asked for an RMA # and I also wanted a refund.

Within 2 days i received the RMA # and returned the card, after one week of not hearing from them I called my credit card company and filed a dispute, I only did this after calling them 2 times with no answer.

4 days after I filed dispute on my credit card (got my money back) I received another video card, this one was nothing like what I ordered, I wanted a dci-e video card and they sent me an old PCI version.

5 days later I got a notice from FEDEX saying i have a delivery, and they needed my APT #, and it was from CLEVELAND, TN (Computer Parts Direct) same place they ship from.

I refused it and had it shipped back to them. Now I am not telling you folks what to do, but use your good sense and learn from the lessons here of all the other good folks who have been unfortunate to deal with this company.

"Worst online experience ever. Took a day longer than they promised to ship out (around a week). Took another week after that to arrive (despite paying $14 for FedEx expedited shipping).

When it did arrive the hard drive was packed and repacked in stolen USPS Flat Rate boxes (not previously used ones--these guys aren't trying to be eco-friendly). These were new boxes that they used to save on buying their own. Shameful.

All this could easily be forgiven. But when I open my 2.5 Seagate Internal Notebook Sata Drive...There were two huge deep scratches across the bottom of the circuit board.

So I just went to Best Buy and got an expensive quick fix. But now Computer Parts Direct refuses to acknowledge my emails or answer my phone calls. I want to return this defective drive and they are completely ignoring me. I've read they don't give much back on refunds anyhow. So I'll probably just eBay the drive. Terrible!
