"This is hands down the worst interaction I have ever had while shopping on the internet. After ordering my cpu, they stated it would take 21 days to process the order. After processing it took another full week to ship. So after just shy of one month I received my cpu, and it was the wrong one.

After requesting an RMA so I could return the product, it took over 10 days for them to reply. During this time I tried calling their number each day, at least 5 times a day. Not only did no one ever answer the phone, no one had the decency to return any of the messages I left.

Once the RMA number was generated, I asked if they would reimburse my shipping expenses (since they had sent the wrong product in the first place). It took one month of me sending bi-weekly emails to get a reply. The reply consisted of the salesman telling me to put a copy of the shipping receipt in the box when I returned it, and he would see what he could do.

It has now been 20 days since they received the item I sent back, and I have yet to:
-receive my new cpu
-receive an email saying when I can expect the new cpu
-a refund for the shipping charges I incurred
- receive any reply from their sales or support staff.

Hands down worst internet shopping interaction I've ever had.

"First, I'm a tech for a small company. I have been with the company 10 years. I have never seen this level of incompetence with any Computer parts supplier/Internet company. Amazing! I'm in Indianapolis,In. They are in TN. About 500 miles. They state 7-9 days processing time. For me it was 3. Very nice. Received all the info by email on what was happing with my order.That was great! The order got here in 3 days. Exactly what I paid for.(UPS). N/P pleased with that.

When I opened the package, I was shaken by the poor packaging of this Motherboard. There was nothing in the delivery box to protect the Motherboard. The actual box with the Ink/printing/pictures on the box were all scraped from one end to the other. (looks used).I went to Biostars site,located this (wrong) board and saw a picture of the box it is packaged in and discovered they even put this board in an old BIOSTAR box from the past.So even the wrong board is in the wrong box. Crooks they are!

It's gets worst. Inside the box is nothing but the board. No installation/driver CD. No cables,(usually I get a least one or two IDE & at least one or two SATA cables plus a bag of screws+mounting Hardware,and the back plate for the frickin hole in the case so the motherboard is somewhat protected & complete!

What should have been Included is:
BIOSTAR GF7100P-M7S Motherboard
User Manual
Installation Disk
SATA Cable
IDE Cable
FDD Cable
I/O Back Panel Shield

There is nothing. it's all missing as well. I have never ordered anything from this bunch of ripoffs & will never order anything from them again. If I had the time & money I try and put these crooks in prison. Oh yeah their company's name "Computer Parts Direct" with the address of 263 N. Ocoee St. is not listed with the tenn BBB. That address is listed with the BBB as "Cooks Custom Computers". They are ripoffs who belong in prison.

I knew I was in for it right after I clicked the "OK" icon on my credit card order & a pop-up invited me to write a review on this company. I got to read all kinds of BAD reviews. Then tried to stop my order but in their fine print it on their site it states you can't stop it but you can try,by sending a request to the owners email address but in brackets it said it's (not Very Likely). plus if they say their policy for restocking is $30%. Real crooks!So I decided to wait for this order. I'd say half of the people on the review site warned me to stay away were 100% right! Again in all fairness about half said they were wonderful in every way! Probably the employees wrote those.

I'm now starting the process of correcting this order. I knew this was going to happen & DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!!

Tried to call @ 2:pm got a recording it's been 6 hours and no call back. plus sent an email to their site for an RMA but it tells u there is a 48 hour wait.
by the way, in my box was my invoice & another customers invoice. I did called the "other" customer and he said he hopes they do better with his laser printer which is due there tomorrow. Kind of upset that I received a copy of his order. God help him. I'm just starting the RMA process! God help me and my Customer. I've contacted the BBB in Chattanooga,Tn. As a few other burnt customers had to do. I'm trying not to wait a month to get this resolved.

update: 10 emails later, 9-1-11 they just told me refund is confirmed in their system. don't know what that means. I still haven't got a dime back in my account. (bank) or mail (check.

It does not tell me how I am to receive my refund,Transaction ***-***-**** has been successfully ACCEPTED by the system. WHAT SYSTEM? When I click on "Detailed Invoice" the login won't accept my password so I apply for a new password; the system send me one and that doesn't work either.I guess they closed my account too. I then select a reply to their email. Waiting,.......

today is Sept 07 2011 I now have my refund in my bank account. they sent me an email on the 30th telling me that I would get it but after three more email asking me how I would receive my money (bank or postal)? they always replayed with the same reply:

"I ordered a camera from them. It has beed fifteen days since the order. They took the money from my credit card the next day. It still tells me filling order. I called and got no call back. I sent a email and no reply. I will never use this company again. I would look else where for anything that they sell. It has now been 21 days since my order. I did get a call from them. They told me it will be in from the supplier in a day and they would next day ship it to me. This was a week ago. STILL NO CAMERA OR REFUND. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! You can't even get ahold of them for a refund. OK I GOT A REFUND. It only took TWENTY NINE days to get it. Good luck if you order from them. It would be a great risk. "

"These guys are amateurs. Please stay away. Part took two weeks to arrive (from TN to SC). Poorly packaged (stuck in a cardboard envelope with a thin layer of wrap). The packaging of the Seagate drive did not appear to be factory. When installed in the server, diagnostics revealed it already had 22,500 hours on it!! The drive itself clicks and throws out errors. Apparently, these guys get the junk that gets returned and they sell it as new. Can't return because it now has sensitive information on it. I ordered another drive from someone else."

"I ordered a computer accessory from Computer Parts Direct. Sadly, for me, the manufacturer had ceased producing the item. And so Computer Parts Direct could not fulfill my order. BUT!!!! The thoughtful staff at Computer Parts Direct contacted me IMMEDIATELY and advised a refund was coming directly.
Now, I am writing this review specifically because I bought merchandise from another M.O. on-line company recently. One item from that order was out of stock. And it took FIVE months for the refund to get back to me.
NOT SO WITH COMPUTER PARTS DIRECT!! They contacted me, as I said, immediately. AND what was even better - I received my refund check within ONE WEEK. ONE WEEK!!! That is fast even by usual USPO standards.
So.....even though Computer Parts Direct could not fulfill my order, I strongly recommend Computer Parts Direct as a responsible and high performing organization and business that places customer service first. And if I need more computer accessories, Computer Parts Direct is at the top of my preferred sellers list. I recommend them to you!!!

"I ordered a motherboard from Computer Parts Direct. After 2 business days, I sent them an email inquiring if my order had been shipped. Then I checked out their shipping web page. It says that they need 4 to 9 business days to process an order! 4 to 9 days -- that's ridiculous. I don't have to wait even 4 days to receive an item from my favorite computer parts website and that's with free or cheap shipping. Anyhow, I received an answer to my inquiry -- the board is out of stock. Stay away from this amateur online vendor!"

"This business is awful. I purchased an xbox360 from them last week, and AFTER they charge my card for 130 dollars, they decide to inform me that my shipping address doesnt match my billing address. OF COURSE IT DOESN'T. I'm a college student trying to have it shipped to my dorm room, and the billing address is my parents home address. So, when i ask them to refund me my money for the Xbox that they won't send to me, they have the nerve to tell me they don't do refunds. Unbelievably poor service."
